There’s a perfectly logical explanation for this … really … and that explanation is that Mel Gibson is either completely off his rocker or completely off his medication.
As much as we wish this whole “jogging with the beaver puppet” thing was just randomly happening (and with Gibson that’s just as likely as not), it turns out that Mad Mel is actually starring in a movie called “The Beaver,” which was filming in New York over the weekend.
The flic, directed by Jodie Foster (who co-stars as Gibson’s wife), is about a man who hates Jewish people … oh, and who thinks that the stuffed beaver on his hand is real.
Okay, okay … sorry about the lame “hates Jewish people” joke. Nobody go denying the Holocaust or anything, alright?
The movie is really just about a man who thinks that his stuffed beaver is real … which let’s be honest, wouldn’t be the first time something like that has happened.
