Who Be Owing Da Fines?
We’ve already established that the S.C. State Ethics Commission assesses its late fines based on a “who you know” basis, which is why we feel a little bit dirty posting this item.
But we’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a slow news day, so here goes … (cue trumpets)
Hark, behold … the S.C. State Ethics Commission’s updated “Debtors list.”
Yeah … can somebody please hit the snooze button?

Jim Miles is rich, white and well connected. Most of the people on the Ethic’s “past due list are poor, black, and not well known in Columbia.
The Ethics Commission illegally waived Mr’ Miles’ fines, and if the members of the Commission had a shred of integrity they would overturn the staff, and levy the fines to Mr. Miles for the 100 plus days he was late.
This is shameful, racist, but sadly, the way Columbia’s power people do business.

I heard that Andre personally got involved in this matter, and asked the Black Caucus to leave this alone. It was feared that if eyes were focused on the Miles reports, then some would turn to Bauer’s reports which are said to be “inaccurate and incomplete” in many many ways. McMaster knows this already as he has had them studied.

The Bauer Adminsitration will be judged to be the most corrupt in history. This scrutiny of the governor’s race will bring all this out.

sic(k) willie breaks open another can of kitty litter. There is no story here. This information has been on the Ethics’ Commission site for years.
Everyone knows the Ethics’ Commission is toothless. Their tiny full time staff does the best they can with limited resources and no support.
If they had real power they would’ve hammered sic(k) willie over the little red ‘vette he “borrowed” when he was sanfraud’s mouth piece.
