That issue of trust…or lack there of…goes to the core of any trust and requisite accountability that a politician might propose.

I have suggested in this forum a simple fidelity pledge to get this issue off the table for the self righteous – I have not been unfaithful to my marriage partner.

And for those forward thinking modern folks who feel that this type of behavior is rampant and thus accepted….I say if true…. then I want to see one politician locally or nationally run on the issue.

“I am a good looking human being and although I am married or in a long term committed relationship….my partner….standing right next to me here …has agreed to allow me to engage in sexual relationships with other partners….and I of course have agreed to same”

“Now with that question out of the way please vote for my positions on other more pressing problems…. like the debasement of our currency and the massive deficit spending of our public sector because unlike other politicians I am a very relaxed and sexually satisfied human being.”

And campaign slogans for those that are unmarried.

“Hi – I am an unmarried politician …I am unmarried because I tried it and it did not work out…..or I just have not gotten married because I did not think it would work for me….as I find the other sex a tremendous drain on my brilliance and as long as I can get laid I do not see the need to complicate my life with the demands of a potentially needy other person or children ….for those concerned that my unmarried status is an indication that I pursue alternative sexual relationships ….well ….that is really my business unless you ask and say it is important to you as a exual issue and I will decide to answer that based on how many votes or voters you represent”.

Now when I see that type of sexual honesty in campaigns …I will believe this type of investigative reporting…which is what Will is doing…is no longer relevant.

Whether it is right to investigate is for history to decide.

I beleive that what is burning this State’s Oligarchs up is the simple success that Will’s approach is having in finally uncovering the secret corruption that is like a stain on this State.

And a good part of his success…ignoring his use of the equally successful and time honored British newspapers use of scantily clad women interspersed within the pages of those broad sheets…is that he is applying some pretty good journalistic safe guards to his coverage.

Whether he has over reached like BIN says is par for the course…his readers…that would be us…do not seem to mind so far…as the page views so easily prove every day.

And for the insincere folks that claim Senator Thurmond’s sexual history and it’s secrecy there in….. as a precedent…… let me suggest that history will show the Senator to be either a cowardly liar…. who might have courageously shown his young love for a black women and the eventual daughter it produced…. as a bridge to solving the racial divide in the south or he will be shown as a rapist… which is the only other conclusion that produces a child who he felt obliged to financially support.

Keep up the good work all of you at FITS and I urge all SC citizens to keep sending in the tips and information that this site can use to expose the liars within our midst.
