Wow. She wouldn’t last a day here in Chesterfield County.
We have a new Dodge Charger that’s been extremely busy on Hwy 9 in Cheraw (supposedly it didn’t cost taxpayers a dime) and rumors that approximately $500,000 will be spent on more police cruisers, a tank no one in the department supposedly knows how to use, not to mention they’re practically untouchable. Filing complaints against them is useless.
Funny that our crime rate just keeps going up and up, you’d think with all the resources and money put into policing Chesterfield County it’d be different.
A 17-year-old boy dies in jail, no one charged. A Mr. Sheffield shot in the back, cop goes to court, walks out smiling ear to ear. Such is life in this wonderful neck of the woods.

Sounds like an excellent candidate for Lt. Governor. Perhaps Little Cisco Bauer will make her a part of his unofficial but official but not announced but will be announced maybe soon but not now perhaps later candidate for Governor.

Is Wellford not the Atlantic Beach of the dreary uppity up yours lands about Spartanberg, hoochie bars and lots of Sunday under the counter alcohol sales?
She reminds me ot Atlantic Beach’s mayor, though none of the hold a press conference and announce that she’s been busted for DUI again baggage. Maybe she could be appointed to fill out Sanford’s term.

Perhaps what she was trying to say is that it is not worth her officer’s time to apprehend people who are smoking a little marijuana or dealing small amounts of drugs.
She knows she can’t stop it and is fighting a losing battle. The only crime I heard her mention was for possession of marijuana.
Why fill up the jail with poor black people for dealing small amounts of pot or drugs to adults? What with the rising costs of workman’s comp, insurance, and health care due to inflation it makes no sense to spend the poor town’s limited resources on that sort of activity.
However, articulation is not her strong suit.
