@Interloper if I could withdraw from paying into Social Security and the likes I would gladly do that and invest on my own and not take any money from the gov’t.

This comes from someone that was let go because of the economy in December and has not taken any money for unemployment.

Get the government out of HEALTHCARE is the only way to fix it. I asked my doctor last visit what he was going to do if this took effect, his answer was RETIRE! He was not kidding. The government wants to take away your FREEDOMS and control EVERY part of your life.

His performance was lack-luster however. I say, keep talking! Every time he opens his mouth it is clear that he:
1. Doesn’t know what he is talking about
2. Dances around the fact that “his plan” is not in a current bill before congress.
3. Is lagging in support for “his plan”. They are even requesting that certain states not poll the public as it will bring more bad news.
4. Is going to lose this battle. – you can’t sell the public something they don’t want. It is so clear that he only says what he thinks people want to hear . . . budget neutral (this is perhaps the largest lie of the bunch), cuts to other programs (like a democrat ever considered that).

The aspects of health care insurance reform that will impact middle-class people who already have insurance will start the day after the bill is signed. They include an end to preexisting conditions exclusions. That alone will benefit millions of Americans.

The President needs to address as many demographics as possible to correct false claims such as health care insurance reform is a government takeover of health care. The Democrats slipped by not countering the August deluge of astroturf propaganda from the GOP and beneficiaries of the status quo. Now, they must recover lost ground.
