The S.C. Republican Congressman who yelled “You Lie” at President Barack Obama last week has hired a new media strategist to send out Twitter updates on his behalf.
Wilson’s new advisor is named David All, and like “all” cookie cutter Republican consultants whose entire strategery consists of throwing the word “liberal” around, his idol is the late redneck race-baiter Lee Atwater.
From The Hill:
“Stand with me against liberal attacks: Today I need your help more than ever before,” (Wilson) Tweeted.
All acknowledged that Wilson is not personally writing each of his Tweets. “He is certainly aware of all of the Tweets and understands the substance of all of the Tweets and what’s happening,” All said. “He is not exactly pressing send.”
Wilson is also directing traffic to his website through his ad featured on the Drudge Report.
“Joe Wilson is under attack,” the teaser of the ad reads. “You can help.”
Visitors who click on the link are shown the following printed statement:
“Today, I need your help more than ever before. I’ve been under attack by the liberals for months and they’ve done everything they can to quiet my very vocal opposition to more government interference in Americans’ lives. Now it’s gotten even worse, but I will not stop fighting against their policies that will only lead to more government interference, more spending and higher deficits.
“I should not have disrespected the president during his speech. But I am not sorry for fighting back against the dangerous policies of liberal Democrats. I will not back down.
“Will you stand with me today and help me fight back against liberal attacks by making a donation to my campaign?”

Just wondering how Wilson has been “under attack” by the libs for months, but I haven’t heard about it.
I mean, he is in a campaign for his seat. But this sounds like someone is targeting him.
Or is he so comfortably ensconced in the Second District that he feels he ought to run unopposed nowadays? Is he THAT arrogant?

Its sad our state is going to have to go through another purging to remove the filth such as this. On a brighter note, with Miller and Wilson collectively taking in almost $2 million might be a needed economic stimulus to the paid political hacks, TV stations, blogs and newspapers in the state. I am sure they are just drooling all over themselves looking at how much will get spent in this race.

Wilson needs to get up to speed on the name calling. It’s now socialism, communism, facism or nazism. Despite the fact they reside on opposite ends of the political spectrum, all can be used interchangeably.
