The Heckler Was Amped Up On Caffeine Pills?
Well this would certainly explain a lot …
U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson – who became an instantaneous international celebrity when he heckled President Barack Obama during a joint session of Congress earlier this week – apparently has (or at least has had) something of an affinity for caffeine pills.
From The Hill’s Blog Briefing Room:
It is unclear if Wilson still takes NoDoz, a brand of pill that contains 200 milligrams of caffeine a pop. By comparison, a seven ounce cup of drip coffee contains 115 to 175 milligrams of caffeine.
A source told The Hill in 2007 that the congressman ingested the tablets “like candy,” but Wilson insisted he was not addicted despite the fact that he had been taking them since high school.
“I love coffee, but I don’t have time to drink it and I don’t have access to it,” Wilson said at the time.
The fifth-term Republican said he shared his NoDoz use with his doctor, who Wilson said assured him that the over-the-counter pills are not dangerous unless you get addicted.
Uhhh … okay.
We outgrew our NoDoz phase during our sophomore year of college, but in fairness to NoDoz that may or may not have been the fault of our Ritalin addiction.

This is all they have? Seriously? Caffeine? Wow. Not that the President tried coke or got wee weed up or pelosi’s apparent addiction to Botox. Anyways more stupid pop culture crap we call news that takes away from true debate on the health care issue. He did get Democrats and the NAACP’s panties in a emotional bunch which is always funny though.

Look, as he showed with Essie Mae Thurmond Washington and then the Democratic congressman on CSPAN, every few years Joe just has to publicly call a black person a liar and then apologize shortly thereafter.
Maybe its a requirement to be elected Grand Kliegel of his Sons of Confederate Veterans Chapter?
