The Dwight Drake Blueprint Is Being Unveiled
How does a special interest lobbyist who personifies South Carolina’s failed status quo chart a path the Governor’s Office in 2010?
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dwight Drake wants to tell you.
Well, not you obviously … but other well-heeled special interest-types, or people “whose opinion I value,” Drake says.
Several dozen of these Palmetto elites have been invited by Drake’s campaign to attend a high-level strategy briefing next week at his swanky Nelson-Mullins office building in downtown Columbia …
In addition to the polling and fund-raising briefings outlined in the letter, we hear Drake’s barber will also be on hand to discuss how he plans on keeping the candidate’s pesky ear hair at bay over the course of the campaign.

Not lick one in the letter about what is good for SC, only what is good for his campaign. I guess we get the rhetoric when the primaries get closer? Thank goodness his team of consultants has such a great track record!

I still believe that Vincent Sheheen will win the Dem nomination. No one except Dick Harpootlian wants a Columbia lobbyist as the Governor of our State.
