Read Mande’s Lips
Quite a few readers have commented that unless I go blonde, my conservatism will be an avocation rather than a career (see e.g., Ingraham, Coulter, Crowley, Parker, Hasselbeck, Herzog …)
Blonde doesn’t become me, as I’ve explained … but it turns out that red does – on my lips, not in my hair.
Red lips does blonde hair one better: Red is the color of conservatism. (Also it’s the color of communism, but never mind that for purposes of this column).
I’m pictured here in MAC Ruby Woo, this autumn’s most with-it lip shade as so ordained by me in this here article.
This is the next big thing, people. Red lips are to this fall what Obama was to last fall – just you wait and see.

FITS: have you given any thought to having a “Mande of the month” pose? I’m thinking she needs more freckles (with your obsession, and all): maybe you could put a few more on her? No photoshop for that task; some things are best done by hand.

Mande, I agree with more of what you write more than anyone else writing for fits. People are so caught up in the party they support that they do not find fault in their own parties. Some are not even smart enough to debate but had rather name call and ridicule than try to understand someone who speaks of things not covered by the mainstreem media (yes I am talking to you brain dead f___er’s, you know who you are). BTW I feel compelled to mention that you are flippen Hot!

Take a deep one and relax. The idea that you are at a loss over a little lighthearted fun speaks volumes. I will agree, however, that there are certain things about Mande that look great, and probably from most (if not all) angles.

I see you do know who I was talking to Pat. Just keep towing the party line go watch CNN to get your talking points, then go watch Opra she may have something on hart warming. I would like to mention people who look to the government to solve their problems are making a huge mistake everytime we allow government to assist us with any aspect of our life they have bribed us with our own money into loyalty, and every time we allow them to police something we have given them the athority to police us as well. Department of Education for instance have taken the ability of our elected school board members to govern education at the local level, if they had not we could still have prayer in school if that was what the community wanted. Government should be on a short leash with a choke collar. We need to quit trying to police the world. If we were still a Constitutional Republic like we were designed to be we would not be at war rite now, we would still have freedom, would not be subject to torture or any of the crap in the Patriot Act. All this stuff is what Obama campaigned against and yet he has kept every bad Bush policy in place. Tell me how this is a free country when our labor is stolen in the form of tax and used to fund things we do not support such as the war on terror, the drug war, the wall street bailouts or the coming Carbin Tax.

No, I got the idea that it was an attempt at humor. It was just unnecessarily mean-spirited humor. And not really all that funny. But that seems to be your forte. You see, you took a pretty harmless, lighthearted post by Mande, then awkwardly implied she likes to blow random guys. That’s not really humor, but more an indication that you will take any chance you get to take a cheap shot at her. Again, take a deep one. You don’t have to always be in attack mode.
