Fascinating how folks are so willing, even eager, to use a broad brush to paint folks into a corner and conveniently leave the truth in the can. So, to “Calhoun” and “madcock” and comments like ” … after his (Viers) escapades, would be a hypocrite for calling on anyone else to resign.” HIS escapades? Presuming you are both male, how would you have dealt with a guy who’s sleeping with your wife and gets her pregnant? Let it go people! When it comes to politicians, it’s about how they vote. Viers votes right 99% of the time. So did Sanford in Congress. And IF the GOP caucus had any sense of fiscal conservatism – or had voted to sustain Sanford’s vetoes as did Viers, we wouldn’t be in half the trouble we’re in. And to Rick Beltram – “real” Republicans wouldn’t have sent this stupid letter and “real” Republicans are sick and tired of RINOS!

I’m not sure about Shannon Erickson. I know she would never condone such action (as Sanfords). I hope she’s not carrying Davis’ water. Guess we won’t know until we see the Senate list. The lowcountry (Beaufort) delegation has been pretty quiet about this. Sic you played a big roll in both T Davis’ and Erickson’s election. You could now be their undoing. Keep us posted on these two.

Somewhat knowing/having listened to Joey Millwood, I have no idea why he would not include his name on that list. At least Keith Kelly saw the writing on the wall, and put his name on the list. It’ll sure be hard (impossible) to pull the handle for Millwood from now on…. And poor Nikki Haley, if she only knew how close she actually came to having a true shot at being the governor. I can’t believe she would blindly follow Sanford, and let him destroy her career as well. Oh well, those 12 names sure need to be remembered come next year.

I’ve known Thad Viers for years. Obviously, someone with his personal history has no moral high ground at all to criticize Sanford’s publicly defecating on his wife and kids.

As for Haley, she has simply proven conclusively in this one action that she is still Mark Sanford’s puppet. THAT DEBATE IS NOW OVER.
