Oregon Suspends Blount For Season
The Obama-lovin’, tree-huggin’ peace-mongers in Oregon got their wish Friday as University of Oregon tailback LeGarrette Blount was suspended for the rest of the 2009 season by first-year head coach Chip Kelly.
Blount, whose post-game sucker-punch against a trash-talking Boise State defensive lineman Thursday night made national news, will also be ineligible to play in the event Oregon makes it to a bowl game. Meanwhile, the trash-talker who started all of this drama – Boise State defensive end Byron Hout – will receive no punishment for his unsportsmanlike taunting, according to his head coach, Chris Peterson.
Talk about overkill. And sending a sh*tty message.

This is the problem with all things sports now and you are fueling it. No honor is left in the game. Some guy runs his mouth and acts like he is walking in from recess after a 5th grade kickball game and a thug punches him in the mouth. So let me get what you are saying straight… if I say something that makes you angry then you should punch me in the mouth so I will “get what I have coming”? Man, what a sham that you have bought such a wad of liberal garb. That is the tactics of liberals, free speech until they don’t like what you say, then comes the attack. I am a former MMA fighter and I have known for years that the greatest strength is shown through restraint of one’s own self, and with that comes honor. Let’s bring some honor back to sports.

I almost forgot. What should be done with Blount? He should be permanently removed from the team and University. Game over. We need accountability, if you cannot control yourself then get out thug. Scholarships are a privileged not a right. Hout should get 2 games and gorilla stomps until he pukes. Instilling honor and accountability is what will change the new crybaby “I have anger issues” generation.
