We’ve got to give some credit to our buds at The Garnet Spy

Ever since we started turning people on to this website a few months back, its author has been “doin’ it (and) doin’ it (and) doin’ it well,” to borrow an expression from LL Cool J.

We don’t always agree with “The Spy,” but the website’s various ruminations, exhortations and speculations are bound to get you thinking …

For example, The Spy has a post up today entertaining the notion that S.C. Senator Larry Grooms’ gubernatorial campaign is a bit on the “Stepford” side.  You know, sort of like Lowcountry Senator Bill Branton’s 2002 gubernatorial bid.

Anyway, it’s an interesting theory.  Check it out for yourself by clicking here

Isn’t the proper term “stalking horse?” Pretty sure Larry Grooms isn’t a robot.

Maybe not a robot, but definitely a legend in his own mind. There is something about that Berkeley County water.

Thanks Will,
I agree that Larry is “a stepford candidate”. However i’m told he’s getting some traction in the upstate and should not be taken for granted.
