Erin Andrews Is Back!

For the second straight year, ESPN’s Erin Andrews will be stalking the sidelines at the University of South Carolina’s season-opening football game against N.C. State – this time comin’ atca live Thursday night from Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, N.C.

You’ll recall that Andrews’ coverage of this game last year spawned an exclusive photo shoot that nearly cost our founding editor his g’nads.

Yeah “d’n ask …”

Anyway, since then Andrews celebrity status has been exponentially enhanced by the release of the infamous “peephole video,” which you would have probably never heard of – or seen – had ESPN not (intentionally?) blown it up by issuing dozens of overzealous legal threats.  And then there’s EA’s response to “Peepgate” – which is the cause of significant confusion, according to the tell-it-like-it-is SF Gate City Brights blog.

Seriously, she’s going to appear on Oprah this month to (in all likelihood) wax sensitive about being violated, and yet she just got done posing all sexy in a locker room-themed shoot for GQ?

Hmmmm …

Of more immediate concern to us is that a Southeastern Conference team is a four-point underdog to friggin’ N.C. State … which plays its football in the “Anybody Can Compete” conference.
