I don’t see much leadership in any of the candidates but Connor. It is unlikely I would vote for a democrat for this position. If a conservative, liberty loving, communist hating candidate appeared, i might consider it. It isnt about party at this point. It’s about who will stop the march toward Marxism.

You still mad Connor didn’t hire you after all of your pitches? The accusation that he’s a REMF is mind-boggling to say the least. Of course, threatening his supporters is just as baffling and not very smart.

Now you’re tied to the Guiliani candidate who preaches about not raising taxes then (on the same web page no less) tells his folks a 1 percent tax hike is the “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity”, runs for county GOP chair while backroom campaigning for lt gov then serves a month before resigning, fails to show up for GOP meetings so as not to face those opposed to him.

While I’m not a Connor supporter, your hatred/jealousy here is tiring and annoying. Try discussing your candidate’s virtues instead of attacking the others.

I think the obvious observation is to note that no one who served with Bill Connor has “disclaimed” his service, other than unnamed sources that Red Bank Bar conveniently can’t identify.

As for Mr. Scott, you would be well advised to reconsider your decision to run for Lt. Gov. The best that can happen is that you win, and you eventually make it to Governor. Big title, no power. Stay in the House or maybe go for state Senate when an opening occurs. That is where the real power is.

If you must run for Lt. Gov., by all means do not let anyone know you are black. GOPers ain’t gonna believe that you and Obama aren’t tight. Also, I wouldn’t discourage the rumors you might be gay, even if you are not. Not that it’s anyone’s business in the first place.

GOPers can deal with you being gay, as long as you observe ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ protocol. More importantly, they wouldn’t think you want a white woman.

I love the description of the event as it confirms my sources. I’ve spoken to two South Carolinians in law enforcement who were there in Afghanistan. These are hard-core Republicans. They have nothing but derision for Bull the REMF. This was a daily convey that ALWAYS drew small arms fire. Nuisance fire, nothing more.

Bull flew by helicopter to the delivery point so he wouldn’t have to go round-trip. He then straps on a side arm, lowers the window on his vehicle, and begins firing his sidearm. He was requested, quite firmly, to stop. He was specifically told he could cause more damage by throwing his Citadel ring at the “ambushers”. He emptied his clip to cement his “combat” experience. The description is also very telling as the “MASSIVE”(Bull’s word) Taliban ambush (which was the equivalent of the MASH episode on 5 O’Clock Charlie)resulted in TWO dings on the Humvees. The convey lost no vehicles, no casualties, and was not even delayed ten minutes. Reeley’s Paint and Body could fix the damage in ten minutes.

Has anyone noticed NO ONE who served with Bull has stood up with him at any event and lauded his “combat” status? He’ll get a few prefunctory blurbs on campaign literature solely due to his rank but no one who actually served will go front and center for him.

REMF? A Citadel graduate, Lt. Col. in the “Infantry” no less. As a law student he could have asked for a JAG position but “volunteered” to switch units so that he could “volunteer” for combat Afghanistan. He’s the only combat Vet in the bunch. I don’t think Ken Ard or Tim Scott ever wore a uniform.

Just because you say he does not drinking alcohol does not mean he does not do drugs. Nor did you make it clear that he is from this planet and does not take orders from Moscow.

Reading between the lines here, I think there is much to be concerned about. You just told us more than words could ever say.

… of course I’m just joking. Tim is a 110% class act. I just wish he’d slow down and not try to move up so quickly. He did a solid job with Charleston County, and I wish he’d take some time to become the same kind of leader in the House, because I know he’s capable of doing it.
