“Too small to be a Republic, too big to be an insane asylum …”
That’s an approximation of a quote often attributed to the not-so-great state of South Carolina, a mercurial, topsy-turvy little inverted triangle of a state that’s currently undergoing what could be the most sweltering political summer in its storied – albeit unsophisticated – history.
If South Carolina wasn’t already a “banana republic” – as Gov. Mark Sanford frequently referred to it before sticking his banana somewhere he shouldn’t – it has certainly become one in the wake of the utter and complete implosion of political order that has followed his “Argentine delight.” And if the Palmetto State is indeed an “insane asylum,” then right now its political class is clearly the patient wearing the straight-jacket in a padded room, enjoying its broth through a straw.
Just as our governor became thoroughly un-spooled early on in this crisis, “Argentine Fever” has now swept through the state capital and beyond, causing more unravelings. Each day it seems fresh revelations are shaking the state’s establishment to its very foundations, rattling cages and redefining a political landscape that’s beginning to resemble the surface of the moon.
No joke, people, there are impact craters left and right … with no end in sight (sky rockets in flight? Argentine delight?) …

Obviously, our (not so “little” anymore) website has broken and/0r covered many of those revelations, prompting more than a few people to express their displeasure with the way we have handled ourselves – or handled certain stories.
Rather than play the game of blaming the MSM or offering excuses and/or explanations for the way we’ve handled certain things, we would like to take this opportunity to say very simply that we will continue to do the “voodoo that we do” … just the way we’ve been doing it.
Anybody who doesn’t it like it?

Well it is a known fact the truth shall make you free so hopefully SIC will dig up enough stuff to free up a bunch of house and senate seats of those that deserve to be removed for rising above their incompetance. I used to see those bumper stickers that say “Don’t Re-elect anybody”, I have now come round to that way of thinking unless I know the individual I am voting for.

Before Y’Accuse Us?, Huh? It’s totally understandable for Fits to be feeling a little heat. Now I will readily admit that to the extent that simultaneously being a traitorous character assassin and also a cool guy with a cool website are not mutually exclusive, Fits has somehow managed to pull it off. Doesn’t change the fact that the “execution” of Ms. Fire Down Below was without justification, nor will it soon be forgotten.
