resignation

S.C. Board of Education Chairwoman Kristin Maguire has resigned her post, citing family reasons.

Maguire informed Gov. Mark Sanford’s office of her decision in a letter dated last Friday.  That letter was received by the governor’s office Monday, which is when Maguire informed her colleagues on the S.C. Board.

Neither letter referenced the story that ran Monday afternoon here on FITS.

She doesn’t have time to home school her kids, take care of her parents, serve on the Republican executive committee, Chair the Education Board, AND wax nasty on the internet about getting her freak on! Girl’s gotta give up sumthin’ and it ain’t gonna be the freak!

Leave her to her own private business. At no point does she talk about sex with minors. You would be shocked at how many people lead double lives.

You can’t honestly sit there and tell me you’ve never had a fantasy about you and someone other than your spouse, doing things your husband or wife will not usually do.

As long as the children she has contact with were not at risk, leave the woman and her desires alone.

Dear Governor Sanford,

Wow. You act quick. Perhaps she penned your letters after all.

Oh well. Have you ever had chicken and waffles? I’m dying to try chicken and waffles. With that mouth of yours and appetite, I thought you might.

Yours now,
Adriana

Adriana that’s some funny shit.
Wonder if Kristin got her start writing letters to the Penthouse Forum?
Gives a hole new meaning to Twittering.

What bothers me is that as soon as FITS News starts asking questions, & published the 1st hint earlier this weekend, she resigns. Either that or the resignation came as soon as the story was published by FITS & she back dated the resignation.

Either way, this is not good.

The fact that the governor’s office actively worked to remove her porn from the internet means they covered it up. You don’t mix porn with education, especially with SC’s educational fiascoes & low achievement record. He should have asked for her resignation when they first uncovered this stuff instead of trying to subvert the truth.

This stuff ALWAYS comes out sooner rather than later, & the fact that they actually tried to hide it makes Sanford culpable. He knew about this, & no one in his office could have possibly done this without his authorization.

So where’s the statement from the governor’s office regarding the porn allegations & the reason that they didn’t act on this BEFORE FITS News came out with it?

Where was the hint this weekend? She resigned before the post today…

The resignation, which is so obviously directly related to these revelations, smacks a little disingenuous by relying on the tired old “family responsibilities” thing. Although I guess the timing could just be a coincidence…

“So where’s the statement from the governor’s office regarding the porn allegations & the reason that they didn’t act on this BEFORE FITS News came out with it?”

Exactly, and it bodes badly for that “striving-for-transparency” pet phrase.

High Five Sic!

Go look at the back postings on FITS.

We are all enjoying this way too much. We haven’t even had time to crack in on the Andre bombshell exploding today. Lighten up for a few days, political guys. I’ve got to get some work done.

Yo, yo, yo, Home Slices!!!

I cannot thank you enough for not questioning my superficial judgement in picking such a well-rounded citizen to represent our public good.

This is a huge affliction I possess….. i am SO disconnected from everyday life that I grasp straws (or see-thru tops) at the cyclic rate.

Look at my boy Will. There he was, a wasting away in Margariteville until I showed him the lite (which I will always be to my critics….) and look at him today. Handsome, well-endowed, and dam-near street legal. I refer to him in closeted circles as my favorite spawn…….

Anyway, enough about my mian amigo, Will……

Trust me. Kristen was HAND-chosen for her position, and a position on the gubernatorial staff is nothing to wince over, if you know what I mean! ;)

Dear stupid people, you can’t erase things from the internets, don’t you understand it’s a series of tubes run by gears.

The woman resigned. That ends the story. What’s next?

Calhoun Fawls, don’t you mean who’s next?

Fits never heard of the Geneva Conventions, because he sure does not take prisoners. But the sickest thing is that he seems to actually enjoy it. There was no cause for the hit on Ms. Fire Down Below, it was purely gratuitous. But hey, as others have already remarked, meet me at the station you fine sexy thing, let’s take that train ride.

“There was no cause for the hit on Ms. Fire Down Below, it was purely gratuitous.” Was it? Jonny, doesn’t it bother you that she is a member of the Republican executive committee (representing many other republicans) and a few weeks ago voted to censure Sanford, instead of asking him to step down, while at the time, according to this blog, Sanford was keeping her secret? And, possibly, his staff was assisting in covering up that secret? If that is true, do you think that influenced her vote on the committee? If you were a Republican, would that matter to you?

Anybody else find it ironic that she resigned via a Letter to the Governor. Any guesses on what was in THAT spicy letter? Bonus points if you can identify the scent of the letter.
