Candi Gov. Sanford has admitted to messing up more than just one time. I too believe in forgiveness but, don't beat Will up for covering the story that Sanford keeps fueling with his stupid press conferences. Will hasn't done anything that could even match what Sanford did to his wife and kids when he wnet on National tv and said he needed to TRY and fall back in love with his wife! Now that was the lowest of things he could've done to both his wife and kids. It appears to me that Mark Sanford has finally shown his true colors, he isn't the rightheous man that he proclaimed to be. He is SIMPLY a man like all other humans and we all have failings, he seemed to never understand that he was human too. With his pompous and arrogant strutting for years. At some time or another we're all cut down to size and this is his by his own doing.

It’s time for South Carolina to close this chapter and proceed on with the business at hand. If articles of impeachment is needed to remove a man that is clearly in self-denial than it is time to make that a reality. My concern is not about the affair but the lack of consideration the governor had for the safety and continuity of operations for the state in his absence. He has said on numerous occasions that he opted not to transfer power during his “trip” because he was accessible by phone. This excuse is not sufficient and clearly not well thought out.

Like many of you, a cell phone can drop a call in an instant and during an emergency situation that is not an option. Plus, what if something had happened to him while in transit? What if his plane went down during this secret trip. No one would’ve none his whereabouts or what kind of danger he was in. This man purposely conspired to cover up his affair but the stakes were to high. He should be dealt with accordingly and for many of you concerned about Lt. Gov. Bauer; stop electing people you don’t trust in the first place. Let this be a hard lesson for many of you to be very mindful of the next time!

Candi, the governor messed up alot more than "one time," which I assume you mean was when he cheated on his wife. For instance, he's been exposed as a hypocrite on his claims of frugality and unethical in his use of the state airplane and his use of airplanes by political supporters. Although he admitted the affair because he was caught red handed, he's denied everything else. He's also likely had a nervous breakdown in the process. He's messed up alot, and it has rendered him incapable of functioning as the state's executive.

Candi....Sanford messed up just one time? Really? You are officially the only person in the universe who thinks that. Nobody cares about his affairs anymore, its everything else that is adding up.

Huh,

Wasting money?? Wasting money?

How about the governor travelling all over the state on his "forgiveness tour" on yours and my dime??? Is that not a waste in your eyes?

And for the record, the General Assembly would be paid their per diem for meals, lodging, and miles, but I suspect a majority would waive this.

Candi, What planet have you been on? ..messed up one time??? Of his own accord, Sanford has "Crossed that line many times." He then told a bold faced lie to his closest advisors about his where abouts while in Argentina. He executed a double standard while making his staff fly coach, he flew business or first class on the State's dime. He is a joke. I am all about forgivenss, but he must suffer the consequences of his actions. His latest episode with the press conferences is just making things even more bizarre. I hope his friends make sure he doesn't have access to any weapons, medication, ropes, or belts. He is acting this weird.

Straight as an arrow and messed up "only one time"? Someone has been in a cave. As far as the smut goes, he created it with his outright lies. Our dollars from taxes pays this clown's salary. Making a mistake does deserve a second chance, but how many mistakes? IMPEACH and REMOVE FROM OFFICE!
