Scooter, Andre's security detail had to pull him away from a party and tell him he shouldn't be drinkin' at the race in Darlington. I saw myself.

Old news, and he has made no secret of it. He told a group I was in at the State House in March that he would be buying a house in Greenville. This is the worst-kept secret in South Carolina.

No in fact the whole image of a health nut is just smoke and mirrors. A close friend of mine actually attended one of the coke binged parties on the arm of one of the 22 year old call girls that Bauer likes to associate himself with down in Charleston.

Character of elected officials or candidates for office is well within the parameters of that which should be judged by the individual voter before pulling the lever for him.

Character is an important matter. For example, if an individual running for office were behaving in a promiscuous fashion, I don't think I'd trust his judgement in other areas either.

Why is Andre Bauer not married? Is not being married (to a woman reasonably close in age and faithful) at least one good indicator of an individual's character, especially in regards to responsibility, personal growth, and maturity?

Look at the fuss that Sanford's cheating and promiscuity has caused. His judgement and behavior have been extreme and extremely disruptive to our state. He should resign, IMHO, but his remaining in office is a great demonstration of what can happen when we have someone of poor character in office.

One thing to ask yourself about Bauer is: "Would you ride in a car with him driving?" Or, even more important for such a high level figure, "Would you fly in a plane with him piloting?"

What do I think of Bauer's speeding, challenging police officers, crashing a plane due to his extreme negligence, general arrogance, sexual promiscuity, repeated grandstanding, pandering to special interests, etc.? I think he's repeatedly shown very poor judgement and I can not trust the boy Lt. Governor. By the time Andre Bauer grows up he'll be senile.

I wouldn't fly in a plane or ride in a car that he was in charge of. And I sure as the devil wouldn't trust him to pilot this state as governor nor represent any portion thereof in D.C.

There is no drunk driving. The Lt. Gov is a health nut. And does not party like it's 1999. Unlike, Sanford, The Lt. Gov's detractors have nothing but ugly gossip to talk about. He works hard, and long days for the people of SC. This is a guy that has been working hard for years and years. He is no lazy bum, or a party dude! Give up the gossip.

As I understand it, all state plane usage has to be for the benefit of the state, not just personal use, or partisan politics.

There are rules and regulations concerning this, though it has been some time since I looked at them.

But it appears there is a lot of commentary concerning the disclosure and ethics laws concerning private flights. If their value is more than $25.00, they should have been reported. It appears Sanford has not reported all of them, and Bauer has reported none of them.

The property address is in Greer, but it's actually off of S. Batesville Road and very close to Pelham Road. In other words, the address is no where near the actual city of Greer, as the picture would imply. Just sayin'.

A choice between Inglis, Bauer, and Thomas for the 4th? If that's the best we can do, it's pathetic.

Thomas, you bring up something interesting.
Can any public official just say they want to use a state plane and just use it? No one has to approve it or insure it's use is within state law?
