First of all, Alan successfully prosecuted former city police officer Donald Johnson (who had molested his step-grandaughter) up in Spartanburg County in 2007. I can personally attest to this because I was there. Johnson is currently serving a 20 year sentence in the SC Dept of Corrections as a result of Alan’s “first-chair” work on that trial.

This is one of approximately 15 cases that Alan prosecuted in front of a jury during his time at Donnie Myers’ office in Lexington, and more recently at the AG’s Office.

For that matter FITS, Alan Wilson has by far had the more recent experience as a “former prosecutor” if you are comparing him with Robert Bolchoz. His credentials to be our next Attorney General go way beyond simply being labeled as “Joe’s son”.

Fortunately, he’s more like his momma than his challenged father.

Bolchoz was Charlie Condon’s right-hand man when Charleston was solicitor and AG. God save us from another term of that hyper-politicized abuse of the judicial system. Besides, with our economy in such dire straits, can anyone really afford all the fax paper that would be needed to handle a third Condon term?
