Can You Stand The Henry McMaster Suspense?

mcmaster announce redux

S.C. Attorney General Henry McMaster will finally make his gubernatorial ambitions known tomorrow during a “special” video announcement on the Internet and statewide TV. And trust us, people, when we say “special,” we don’t mean it in a good way.

The cranially-challenged McMaster was supposed to announce his candidacy last week, but then his mother died – delaying his campaign kickoff by a week.

Slightly less shocking than McMaster’s impending announcement is the fact that it was first reported on by the website run by his political consulting firm.

From The Palmetto Scoop:

South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster will make a special video announcement on Monday via the Internet and statewide television, his campaign said Sunday.

What is the announcement? According to spokesman Rob Godfrey, it is “to preview his plans for the race for governor.”

Damn, Scoop … did you even have to walk across the hall to get that quote? Oh wait … poor choice of words … sorry.

Anyway, for more on why tomorrow’s announcement will likely be the high-water mark of the McMaster candidacy, check out this story from when he officially filed his paperwork earlier this month.

UPDATE – Assuming watching Henry McMaster’s two remaining brain cells knock around is something that interests you, feel free to check out his announcement over on his new website HenryMcMaster.com.

The intro seems similar to 2001:A Space Odyssey, though I wouldn’t speculate that McNugget has seen such a film.

    Sic –

Who do you think would make the perfect candidate? You seem to be critical of everybody, even people in wheelchairs(pretty low, even for you).
