A Florida teenager faces vandalism charges after gluing a controversial picture of Big Brother … err, U.S. Secretary General … err, President Barack Obama onto government mailboxes, FOX News is reporting.
The teenager, whose name has not been released, could face up to five years in jail for “damaging” public property (click here for full report).
The dust-up comes a day after the artist behind the famous “Obama Joker” image was … prepare yourself for the awful pun … “unmasked” by the Los Angeles Times as a liberal, Palestine-sympathizing college kid from, of all places, Chicago.
That has led to a conspicuous lack of mainstream media coverage, according to Newsbusters, with the Associated Press, Reuters, AFP, New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, ABC, CBS and NBC all passing on the story … and CNN mentioning it just once.
“Imagine for a moment the person that created the now famous Obama Joker poster was found to be a white conservative that voted for John McCain and Sarah Palin last November,” Newsbusters’ Noel Sheppard writes. “Do you think Obama-loving media outlets would have reported the revelation?”

Harold, your an idiot. Like him or not he is the President of the United States of America and regardless of what FITS writes about him we should afford the office of the President respect regardless of who sits in the chair. The poster was tasteless and degrading. If our country does not find a way out of the bickering and fighting on both sides we will all lose in the end.

You are obviously a new reader. We think Bush is an idiot and have said so on literally dozens of prior occasions.
And even if we did think Bush was the cat’s meow (like Reagan), people can and should be free to express themselves (hey-hey-hey-hey), on or off of mailboxes.
At worst, the kid should clean up the mess that was made and remember to use tape next time.

One could not protest the Iraq war without being labeled unpatriotic or worse. Not to mention that Bush STOLE THE ELECTION.
All those labeling Obama a Nazi clearly has his administration confused with Bush’s.
Perhaps the media outlets only mentioned it once because there simply isn’t time to focus on this while simutaneously posting every Nazi poster of Obama being shown across the nation.
In my humble opinion, anyone who voted for “four more years of the same Bush crap” and Mrs. “I can see Russia from my kitchen window” deserves whatever media lashings they have coming to them.
If it’s just a white thing, refer yourselves to the “White Folks Are Ready to Riot” article on this site. That’ll get you pumped up while you’re trying to deal with the fact that we have a black president.

It’s fairly clear that the lefties are either ideological imbeciles that desperately want the government to take their money and spend it the way they want to, or uber rich elitists that could care less what real Americans want regardless.
They should be embarrassed that this turned out to be a democrat leaning artist… oh wait, they ARE embarrassed. MSNBC, HuffPost, etc have made no mention of it. When a few weeks ago it was clearly racist and right wingnut propaganda. The left is a joke. Americans made a huge mistake voting for an idea last November. Unfortunately, the same media blasted the best candidate we had, Ron Paul. He could have kept us out of this economic nightmare we’re still going through.
The left should be sick to their stomach that they’ve sacrificed everything that made America great just to appear to be progressive to their friends and to the rest of the world.

Ah, to have the political amnesia of the Left. Since you were apparently sleeping throughout the Bush years, perhaps you are not aware that we endured 8 years of the most vile and disgusting attacks against Bush. These included making movies about killing Bush, calling him BusHitler, attacking his motorcade, lamenting that the terrorists failed to kill Cheney when he went to the Middle East, etc. You had the press celebrating these tactics and if anyone ever even hinted that these tactics went over the line, you had to listen to Hillary shrieking about the patriotism of dissent and the right to disagree with any administration.
Fast forward to the Obama administration, and suddenly the Left has become Emily Post, lecturing the Right about civility and manners. The intellectual dishonesty is truly staggering.
