You Can’t “Miss Me” In These Jeans…

From Diesel and Lucky to Gap and Guess, the search has been protracted. In the end, the perfect pair of jeans comes from a brand I’d not heard of until I came across them at, of all places, a dress boutique.

Miss Me jeans are the dreamiest jeans I’ve ever worn, not least of all because they’ve got exactly enough fabric … no more, no less.

There’s not, as happens to so many jeans after a few hours of wear, crumpled denim at the knees, hanging denim yards past the ankle, or drooping denim at the tush. Also notably absent is the “cocket” … you know, that puzzling pocket of fabric at the crotch of too many women’s jeans.

So, no superfluous fabric but also no fabric shortage: Miss Me jeans somehow make possible low-rise minus “muffin tops” and crack flashes. Plus, they’re cut just right at the bottom – neither unflatteringly tapered nor archaically flared.

They are accommodating enough that you can actually walk, breathe, and – the ultimate jeans feat – sit, but they hold their shape without needing to be restructured by the dryer.

My personal favorite part? The prominent stitching at the seams and on the pockets.

I’ve already ordered two more pairs: This one and this one. Can’t wait for delivery day!
