Is this a joke? Is the world’s fastest man really named “Bolt?”
How cool is that?
Jamaica’s Usain Bolt shattered the world record for the 100 meter dash on Sunday night, covering the distance in just 9.58 seconds. That means Bolt was traveling at an average speed of 23.35 miles per hour – and a top speed of 27.79 miles per hour – during his sprint.
Amazing. We can’t even go that fast in a car.
Bolt also holds the Olympic record for the 100 meter dash with a mark of 9.69 seconds, and holds both world and Olympic records in the 200 meter dash as well – feats that are amplified when you consider the, um, “forward rudder” he’s working with.
Hello ladies!
