Bad Day For The Anti-FITS

Remember when the “most powerful politician” and the “most powerful political consultant” in South Carolina were joining forces to create an Internet empire that would bring FITS to its knees?

Seriously, people … it was only like seven months ago, right?

S.C. House Speaker Bobby Harrell and lobbyist J. Warren Tompkins – upset about the profound influence we had begun to wield over the S.C. political process – reportedly banded together to fund a new Internet venture aimed at promoting their various big government machinations.

Oh, and bringing us down.

So they allegedly went out and hired this douche bag, a “journalist” whose resume includes spreading admittedly false rumors about S.C. Lt. Governor Andre Bauer having a cocaine addiction.

Well the more things change …

Ten days ago, “reporter” Wes Wolfe filed a story on his web site claiming that S.C. lobbyist Larry Marchant and several others were being investigated by the U.S. Justice Department.

Since hardly anyone reads Wolfe’s site, we received precisely one phone call about it – and we told that person very simply that “Wes Wolfe is full of sh*t.”

Well, from the poorly-read (and now admittedly credibility-challenged) Wolfe Reports:

Under imminent threat of litigation, we’ve pulled the post we put up about recent developments with Columbia lobbyist and political consultant Larry Marchant. It was a mistake to run with it, and we officially apologize, and officially retract what we said in the post.

Wow … and the odds-makers take a beating.

Interestingly, this may explain why Wolfe was in such a bad mood earlier this week.

You might FOIA Governor’s Mansion security records related to the days — and nights — Will Folks spent at the Governor’s Mansion. Then FOIA any video records from those days — and nights.

Fits, your heightened sense of self importance, or in your words, the “profound influence we … wield over the SC political process”, is just so much public relations masterbation, it actually makes me think of Wolfe. But you do need to come clean on one thing, why are you trying to (character) assassinate the Governor? Is it for love, or is it for money? If it’s for Jenny, I guess that would make it both!

Will, I would not be questioning anyone’s credibility. You write the most ridiculous lies about people and then get off by including caveats like, “sources tell FITS” and “allegedly.” Everyone in this town knows you’ve been on Marchants payroll. Hell, he used to brag that he paid you enough that he could pick up the phone and make you write whatever he wanted. Guess that is still the case…

sic(k) willie questioning another bloggers credibility is like a known prostitute questioning a Nun’s chastity. Silly, but funny!

Wait. We are not suggesting Wes is a Nun or anything funny. :)

But, sic(k) willie’s blog is so full of wacko claims, anonymous sources and politically motivated cr@p he just can’t seem to back up.

You know.

Like his claim of a Midlands’ elected official with a Strom problem. Maybe he was talking about sanfraud.

No. sic(k) willie was suckered.

He promised facts and details. But, nothing. Just a willie scam.

Like his claim that SLED has a “beatdown squad.” Another willie scam.

Really sic(k) willie, a “SLED beatdown squad?”

Then there was his attempt to “dig gold” over the grave of “some poor little black girl.” What a ghoul. Waiting for the facts.

We could go “on and on and on,” but everyone knows sic(k) willie is a politically motivated pimp and fraud. That is just an opinion based on input from unnamed sources and the dust bunnies under sic(k) willie’s bed.
