if my math is correct the Cash for Clunkers program cost each taxpayer something like $7.89. fully funded to it’s $3 billion, the number goes up to $23.67 per taxpayer.

while no one likes the idea of the tax man’s hand in your pocket, GM stock is up and more cars were sold in July than all of the preceding 6 months.
