She could come back home to Illinois (without Mark) and Hillary could come back home to Illinois (without Bill) and they could run against each other for Governor now that Blago is gone.

Oh my, I just wrote the storyline for an HBO comedy series.

What a horse’s a$$! Kick this clown out of office now. Glenn McConnell needs to grow a pair of onions RIGHT NOW and start the process of removing this adulterous, self-centered, womanizer from office – even if it means putting him in cuffs. McConnell needs to get over losing his power and follow what the state constitution calls for – he moves up to the role of Lt. gov and Andre’ go ahead and assume the damn office. I don’t give a rat’s rear if people don’t like Andre’, damn it, they voted him into office. We’re not stupid. We know that the lt. gov. doesn’t have any power, but you need to step up and do the job as required by the constitution. You can run for your old office later for another shot at a power grab. Glenn, Bobby Harrell and all the rest need to stop being panty waists – DO YOUR JOB and rid the governor’s office of this scum. IMPEACH SANFORD NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, let me see here … South Carolina’s still a common law marriage state, so depending on how Marco and his soul mate hold themselves out, should she take up residence with her “gov’ interest,” are we looking at bigamy?

Any way, that irrational diversion aside, both adultery (for Marco Bozo) and fornication (for his soul mate)are still on the books as crimes, and, notwithstanding the apparent “distaste” in South Carolina, for prosecuting the same, they remain crimes.

All of the above to say that if the predicted shenanigans do come to pass, Marco would appear to be subject to UCMJ jurisdiction, under Article 2, once he shows up for training, and, under the UCMJ’s Article 134, he would appear to be engaging in “conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces,” which includes adultery. The Manual for Courts Martial clearly contemplates prosecution for adultery(http://www.au.af.mil/au/awc/awcgate/law/mcm.pdf)at p. 396 (2008 Edition). So, let’s call him up and ship him out …

Oh, and by the way, Sic, while you’re out there sweating and doing the heavy scoopin’ for all of us, can you find out how our Chief Justice, in 2001, determined that she possessed the authority to appoint a citizen as a Drug Court judge in Beaufort County, which order she just “rescinded” for unspecified reasons? Hmmm, I seem to remember from my GED prep course that judges are appointed by executive or legislative authority, not by other judges or the judicial branch. And, one more thing, if it’s not too much to ask, could you find out from your sources how a non-profit corporation, of which the judge is president, can run a county drug court, especially where the judge’s wife, the former clerk of court, is its registered agent? We’d certainly be beholden to you if you could see fit to dig just a bit more.

Talk about unfair, Jenny has said publically she would honor her committments as first lady of South Carolina. Where is it written that she has to do anything? She has worked very hard at improving the GM grounds, two adjacent houses and general openness at the GM, as well as being the back room policy and political advisor. She has stood at that front door for hours and hours and welcomed 1,000′s of South Carolinians and others through that door. She has welcomed many groups and stood at that door for events that most previous first ladies just by-passed. Many, many times she has had one of her sons beside her. Strom Thurmond had his sister, Gertrude, act as first lady until he married Jean Crouch. Jenny’s hard work was due to her sense of history and South Carolina tradition that she picked up upon moving here and that Mark seems to have never acquired. Is there anyone over 28 advising and helping him now? Jenny Sanford for Governor.
