Turn In Obama

matrix agents

Life is full of little – and big – ironies.

Usually when government is involved, they’re ginormous (and expensive) ironies – not the cutesy kind Alanis Morrissette once sang about.

For example … the United States of America is (or is supposed to be) a free country, and yet President Barack Obama earlier this week asked Americans to drop dimes on other Americans by forwarding “fishy” communications related to the health care debate to a White House email address.

Crazy, huh?

It gets even crazier when you consider that the fishiest figure in this debate is none other than Obama himself – a guy whose socialized medicine proposal would do the precise opposite of everything he says it would do.

Of course, Obama’s “Big Brother Is Watching You” approach to monitoring the health care debate isn’t really about health care – it’s about Obama using snoops to identify his political detractors.

Seriously, have you been “flagged” yet? It’s a badge of honor if you ask us …

Look people, if the Obama administration was serious about “correcting inaccuracies” in the health care debate, it would start by admitting that its plan would eliminate choice, raise costs and reduce the quality of care.

Oh, he would also admit that there’s no way in hell his fellow socialists in Washington will be able to pay for it unless taxes are raised on the middle class.

We’re with our buds over at NetRightNation … if anybody should be turned in for lies and misrepresentations in this debate, it’s Obama.

In fact, if you’d like to turn the President in to the White House, here’s the email address: flag@whitehouse.gov.

Isn’t it ironic (don’tcha think)?

$ic I know you are unfair & imbalanced, but do you actually believe the current health care situation in the USA is good enough (Let them eat cake.)? From what I hear Obama’s plan isn’t that great either, but I haven’t any wasted energy to read it as I pretty certain that it won’t even be voted on. Sorta of the same attitude I am coping on voting in the next election. Why brother. In its stead will be some crackpot plan like that drug plan for Medicare recipients passed several years ago. Also on the topic of drugs I guess it is improper for libertarians to have drug companies allow the government to purchase large qualities of drugs at reduced rates? Sorta like they do in Canada. Speaking of Canada my brother lives in Calgary. He has no problem with the medical care he receives up there nor does his wife and any of her family. What gives. Here in SC we have a group of older folks yelling at the government to stay out of the health care business and not to mess with their medicare. Duh! Dumb f**ks. Wonder who put these folks up to this? Life is beautiful, but I’m afraid it is getting pretty sh*ty in SC.
Since most of us with crappy or no health insurance will be dying of like they do now in Africa, why don’t legalize pot and tax that. At least the people can drop dead with a mellow buzz.

Just wait until Big Brother Obama has access to all of your personal medical data in one big data base in D.C.

I’m sure the fascist Left can’t wait to pry into our “medical history.”

We have not been a truly free country in a while they are just useing Obama to install another layer of razor wire! When we go to war now, it is not to protect freedom, it is only to protect the intrest of the elite. Al-quada, Sadam, North Korea or Iran did not do one damn thing to our Bill Of Rights but Bush did, and Obama continued his policies. Most of you dont relize it but if you are vocal enough you can be searched, detained, and forbiden to talk about it by Homeland Nazi-ass Security, you can also be detaind indefanitly without trial or reason right here on our on soil. You people need to wake up now and quit with the particen politics and realize that we are a very controlled society. We have no representation in this country, even though some of you think you do because you have major media leading the way you think. Obama was suposed to get us out of war so you all thought, but that is not going to happen. Some of us knew that along time ago! I will quote what the late great JFK said “Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You But What You Can Do For Your Country”, it is that time NOW before we have anymore loss of freedom, do not allow your selves to be bribed by your own money, (universal Health care Ect) grow a back bone! Go to every town hall meeting and be heard let them not feel welcomed anymore until all liberty is restored. We need to keep our representitives on a short leash from now on! we need term limits in every branch of goverment and any politican that introduces legislation that is in contrast to the founding documents of our country should be impeached!

Funny…if the Democrats would implement Tort Reform the cost of health care would DRASTICALLY reduce. I’ve heard of doctors paying over $100,000 per year in malpractice insurance and most doctors now are practicing defensive medicine.

I assure you, if your doctor under the Obamacare plan cuts your arm off, he will be given some sort of governmental immunity in a tort suit. The government can’t stand to be sued and frankly they can’t afford it.

If insurance costs reduce (due to not everybody suing all the time or getting capped damages), doctor’s and hospital fees will reduce as well as all medical expenses. Oh yeah…and the quality of care doctors give will increase, because they’re not practicing defensive medicine.

But Tort Lawyers are the biggest supporters of Democrat politicians. They don’t want to lose the vote…

I wonder what’ll happen when Tort Attorneys learn they can’t sue the big bad government they voted into power. No more ambulance chasing.

There are four groups that contribute to the astronomical, even exorbitant cost of healthcare.

Doctors – they are well trained and have invested much time in learning their profession and should be compensated but have you ever met a physician that doesn’t make a good salary? At the same time there are good and bad physicians and the ones that make mistakes should be held accountable when they injure others.

Pharmaceutical companies – they have invested much money into R and D but how much do they invest in advertising to convince us that we have this, that or the other malady and should put up with that long list of side effects? If they create a bad product, then they too should be held accountable.

Attoneys – there are bad and good attorneys and the bad ones sometimes file frivolous law suits but there are consequences when an attorney files a suit without merit. Ultimately it is the jury that determines the damages though – think about that the next time you sit on a jury. Also, that about that cap you propose the next time a physician makes a mistake on you or your loved one that affects your quality of life or worse shortens your life.

Insurance companies – they make money on both the patient and the physician. I understand they are in business to make a living but someone suggested that health insurance is the least competitive area of insurance. Why is health insurance tied to employment and harder to get and more expensive if you are self employed?

You simply can’t blame the problem on tort lawyers.

Tort reform is a total red herring. We have already enacted tort reform in SC and as predicted it did not bring down the cost of insurance or health care. The defensive medicine argument is also largely a myth. Doctors perform unnecessary tests because they are paid to do so, not because they are afraid not to.

I have no problem with the White House asking people to send in questionable material. I think both sides should point out all of the lies being told about the various health care bills. Most of the lies are comming from lobbyiest, so we will all benefit from the light.

If we did not have various groups sending out false information, paying people to attend and disrupt town hall meetings, advising people how to stage themselves at a town hall meeting to make it look as though they have more supporters than they do, and sending letters to Congressmen on stolen letterhead, this would not be necessary. But we do, so how else are they to counter all the lies being told.

How do the school choice folks argue that private competition for public education will work and make things better, but private insurance can’t compete with public health care so public competition will not help.

Thanks for the e-mail to send the links with the right-wing lies to the prez.

I was having trouble finding it……

BTW Fits, I’m relatively new to the site. Could you please link me to your criticisms of the Bushies for urinating on the constitution by tapping American citizens’ phones and e-mails without warrants.

It should be easy for you to find. Probably right beside all those WMD’s Saddam had that Bush used as his rationale to condemn thousands of Americans troops to death in Iraq.

    little chicken,
You probably believe 9/11 was a inside job. Bush I believe acted honestly. The CIA and Saddam both insisted that Iraq had nukes. Bush acted to protect this nation. Obama and his Gestapo are acting not to protect this nation from radical jihadis but to insure their socialistic vision. Big Difference.

Towers 1,2,&7 were the first steel framed buildings to collapse due to fire in history much less at the speed of gravity in their footprint turning to dust as they came down. Dont say because a plane hit them a B-25 Mitchel bomber hit the Impire State Building in 1945 It burnt for hours here is the pic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Empirestate540.jpg
Building 7 was not hit by a plane BTW go watch vidieos of it collapse. Also the Twin towers were designed to with stand an airline impact, that is fact. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oBFSc6w8xs

First, let’s stay on topic here. Second, Health care reform is an issue that has many people either mad, uncertain, or disgusted over. Regardless of how you personally feel about the 44th President, he has manifested an issue that often got no real conversation on the front burner. If most of think…I know thats hard to do sometimes…we or we either know someone that has some type of problem with our insurer related to coverage. While the system will never be perfect nor should insurance companies make record profits at the stake of human lives.

It saddens me to hear and see people yelling during many of these town hall meetings without being fully aware of the problem. I mean come on you’ve got senior citizens yelling about “hands off my health insurance”. Many of them already get Medicare…Medicare. A federal government run form of health insurance. We need to learn a hard lesson from what is being done on both sides to manifest a solution to this problem.

Like him or hate him, the President has taken this conversation of health care reform from kitchen tables to congressional committees. Be informed and do your homework (by yourself) without Fox News being a sole source!

Fixing health care is not the solution to all our countries problems that is the equalivalent of patching a dam that is about to burst with bouble gum thats why I harp on a strict interpertation of our founding documents, the solution to everything from healthcare monatary policy, forgin policy, culture clashes religious freedom can be found rite there and we do not need a bunch of lawyers to interpret it for us they were written for anyone to understand.

    BC,
I am glad that, uhm, Obama has brought up the topic of health. (flag@whitehouse.gov) However, he has no right to spend tax payer’s monies on a “citizen Gestapo” (flag@whitehouse.gov). I really can’t believe this is happening in the United States (flag@whitehouse.gov).

What do you think, BC, Obama plans to do with these private e-mails? (flag@whitehouse.gov) Maybe we will all get a call from the IRS…(flag@whitehouse.gov)

I have read the bill and see no coverage for pubologists? Danni can become Danny with an addadicktomy surgical procedure, but who will take care of the pubes? There is little respect for pubes in the media and medical centers today. Where will we be without coverage for pubologists?

Yes the lack of funding for pubology was most conspicuous. I suspect Obama will insure that appropriate language is inserted in the final bill to provide necessary funding for pubology.

The Republicans won’t have a leg to stand on if they veto this one…
