It’s Good To Be Matthew Stafford
Obviously, the first thing on Detroit Lions’ quarterback Matthew Stafford’s mind after signing the richest rookie contract in NFL history (six years, $72 million – $41 million of it guaranteed) was to procure for himself some fashionable sunglasses.
And some new friends.
We’re not saying this is going to turn into Ryan Leaf or anything … but did we mention this guy was 1-1 against the University of South Carolina?
We did? Okay …

The guy is a professional athlete and he’s fat. What the wide, wide world sports is that about?

Might want to review the fact sheets. He was definately 2-1 versus SC, and that L was the result of a dropped (game-winning) TD pass right into Tony Wilson’s hands. Either way, we’re not talking Lou Holtz South Carolina here… the Old Ball Coach actually knows what he’s doing. Don’t hate on the guy just because he’s making 71 million dollars more than you and likes to celebrate with some young tail.

Don’t guess Tim Tebow needs to send Matt the website where he can order that purity bracelet, huh.
