Unlike GM and Chrysler, Ford took this opportunity to actually do something about the problem. That is leadership! While no one wants government envolvement in a private corporation, none of the executive members or the board had any ideas on how to solve the problem. That is bad leadership from the jump. President Obama's recommendation for Wagnoor's resignation was perfect since he is responsible for what the compamy has failed to do. All the good intentions in the world will not amount to a hill of beans if the leader can't steer the boat! This is great news for Ford.
