I just don't see what in the world Kelly Payne would bring to the table? She has been blown up out of proportion (a FITS news fantasy) for doing a good job. There are hundreds if not thousands of other teachers that do as good if not better job than Ms. Payne around this state, and they don't crave the attention that she does. Show me some substance of Ms. Payne and maybe we can talk, but until then, she should stay in the classroom and keep her politics out of the classroom. And next time, don't run out and get your students to post away to "build up" your thread count.

Kelly Payne is an awesome role model not only for her students and fellow teachers at Dutch Fork High School, but more profoundly, for parents like myself. I have known Kelly for several years and have an incredible amount of respect and admiration for her level of commitment and dedication to her role as one of our community leaders. She gives more than 100% of herself into everything that she does or is involved with. Kelly is an excellent candidate for our next State Superintendent and I know without a doubt that our children would benefit tremendously!

I have met Kelly Payne on a few occasions, and she is a wonderful person. Always up beat, chatty, very friendly and kind person. She has great ideals about classroom size, one on one teaching, and school of choice. In high school I was in honors classes and regular classes, and the honors classes were always smaller which made a bigger impact on my education than the regular classes due to size. I recieved more one on one attention, and the classrooms were more productive due to their size. School of choice is also an important necessity. I went to a high school that was not ranked nor was it meeting a lot of the state standards that it should of been. If I could of chosen to go to a better high school where I could of been in all honors classes and smaller classes I wouild of jumped at the chance. Kelly Payne has great ideas and way to turn around South Carolina Education for the better. She is a fantastic choice!

I send my son to Covenant Classical Christian Academy for the small classes, one on one attention, and the quality of a better education. Kelly Payne supports all of that and school choice. Which is why I believe she would be a phenomonal choice for siperintendent!
