Ford “Blackballed” By Democrats

Robert Ford has already been sold out by the SC NAACP, now he’s being blackballed by the S.C. Democratic Party, which until recently was reportedly withholding information on donors and campaign events from the Charleston Senator.

It’s a petty way of paying Ford back for his support of a parental choice bill that would have provided academic scholarships to tens of thousands of African-American students currently stuck in failing schools (as well as tax credits for all South Carolina school children).

The nerve of that guy, right?

It’s also another example of how the party that relies on African-Americans for a majority of its electoral support wants them to be happy with whichever white guy they give the Democratic gubernatorial nomination.

From the Charleston (S.C.) Post and Courier:

Ford’s recent complaint about not receiving financial support is a continuation of his desire for fair play in next year’s wide-open gubernatorial race.

On June 1, Charleston lawyer Bill Runyon wrote a letter on Ford’s behalf to State Democratic Party Chairwoman Carol Fowler, saying, “There is a substantial view in Senator Ford’s camp that the party, as an organization, wants the support of the black community but cannot see us with a potential minority candidate at the head of the ticket.”

Runyon urged Fowler to make sure all candidates for state offices are informed of party functions, and to ensure that the eventual nominee gets tangible, regional support, no matter who the nominee is.

“Your office needs to communicate with all these candidates and reassure them that all candidates will have a fair shot and that their eventual success will depend on their efforts and not on the imagined back-room deals,” Runyon wrote Fowler.

Let’s face it … Robert Ford is the only black State Senator who is standing up for the thousands of children left behind each year by the worst system of public education in the entire nation.

If that’s deserving of being “blackballed,” then the S.C. Democratic Party is nothing but a bunch of racist hypocrites. Like the NAACP.

Fortunately, we hear Ford may have some company next year …

It sure does look like Ford sold out to Mark Sanford’s private voucher system… which is part of the problem in this state.

The government does have a role to play. It worked nicely until people like Sanford took it apart.

Lou: Did it ever occur to you that Sen. Ford may actually believe in what he is campaigning on?

Maybe Mista Sinator Ford outta fun fer Gob-ner. I’s heared him at a judiciary committe meetin’ an’ heeze very blunt and open ’bout whare he stands (Unlike Mista Scalawag Knots and Company) an’ a willin’ t’ vote on principle.

‘Parently the SC Dempcraps dont care to have black folks (or any folks for that matta) think fer themselfs.

‘Course, dem ‘publicans aint much better– day’s sho upset ’bout dem Ron Paul ‘publicans movin’ an’ shakin’ under their “big ol’ umbrella.”

So libertie an’ choice, friends, is da enemie of both wicked, lawless, and godless parties. Curse ‘em all!

Calol Fowler is one dumb hack, with the moral compass of a turd.

The GOP better pray she stays in office. She is their only chance to retain power.

To get the true Robert Ford pronunciation of African-American…the R’s are silent.

Gee – as soon as things don’t go exactly as wished the black candidate plays the race card.

The only thing amusing about this nonsense is that its the democrat party on the receiving end of the “the man keepin’ us down” crap.

Howie’s voucher scam and markiemark’s other extensive scams on SC have been exposed. You know!? A girl friend here, a first class or bidness class air travel seat there. While his staff flies in the cheap seats.

Now everyone knows why he’s called sanfraud.

But we digress. Vouchers are dead in S.C. Jakie said so months ago, and markiemark has driven more nails in its coffin.

Mr. Ford should enjoy Howie’s carpetbugger money while it lasts, because there won’t be much more of it. And he’s getting what he deserves for pimping for Howie and the carpetbuggers.

Go figure– sounds like I hit a nerve, dont worry the Ron paul Rebublicans and Libertarians are on the way, you see there is a movement of awareness going on as you can tell from the some of the other folks posting on Fits that understand why the establishment is so worried about a Fed audit. Who do you think got all of those Tea Parties started in the first place that the media barely covered. Like it or not we the people are not buying into the media propaganda any longer. If you dont believe it go to a gun show or a Tea Party Protest BTW maybe you can go f ur sel um_figure a while longer now!
