“They” Are Dropping Like Flies

If celebrities always “go in threes,” then how in the world are we to make sense of the untimely passing of infomercial king Billy Mays?

Ed McMahon. Check. Farrah Fawcett. Check. Michael Jackson. Check.

But Billy Mays?

By our count, that’s four – although let’s be honest, counting has never been our specialty.

In fact, when we were texted the news of Mays’ death earlier this afternoon by our Atlanta office, we could scarcely believe it. The OxiClean man couldn’t really be gone, could he?

From FOX:

Mays, 50, was found unresponsive by his wife inside his Tampa, Fla., home at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Tampa Police Department.

Police said there were no signs of forced entry to Mays’ residence and foul play is not suspected. Authorities said an autopsy should be complete by Monday afternoon.

Damn.

Now who’s going to berate us into buying products we don’t need?

Sanford needed something to take the attention away. 3 famous people die, in a hurry.

Remind me to never cross Sanford.

Don’t forget about David Carridine. By my count, Billy Mays makes 5. So if you stick with the rule of three’s, there should be one more celeb death yet to come…

This is disappointing. You wouldn’t expect such a highly animated and robust person to jump the planet so early. Scary

Thinking about these deaths again…I see it clearly.

First to go was super skinney cancer woman, Farrah.

    Next, bean pole M Jackson.

    Next, good sized guy Mayes.

Next, clearly…will be fat boy Jake (the buffett) Knotts.

Yes, as clear as day. Sanfords dark karma is just getting its mojo going…

read a little bit more of the story, it also says that he was in a plane the day before where the wheels blew… That could cause some heart problems

He had arrived in Tampa on a Plane that had a “rough” landing, he said things hit his head, but that he was ok…I suspect the autopsy will find a slow bleed in the brain.

“Atlanta office.” I love it. Don’t you mean when Will was at the Braves/Sox game and sent a message over his Blackberry…? :-)

What is with this media coverage of Jackson? You would think that a space ship had landed from Mars. If there is another death, please let it be the media circus.
