Jackson May Have Overdosed On Painkiller
The “King of Pop” may have died of an overdose of Demerol, a powerful painkiller similar to Morphine that the singer was allegedly addicted to and used just before his death.
Jackson’s aides reportedly told UCLA hospital staff yesterday that the singer stopped breathing after taking an injection of the drug – a highly-addictive narcotic – at his Beverly Hills home.
Jackson’s autopsy has been expedited, with an initial report on his cause of death expected later today.
Jackson was in the middle of preparations for an upcoming tour when he died.
