The “King of Pop” is gone.
Michael Jackson, a fixture on the American music scene since his days as a child prodigy in the late Sixties, has died of a heart attack at his home in Beverly Hills this afternoon, the website TMZ.com is reporting.
He was 50 years old.
As well known as he was for his music, Jackson will also be remembered for the accusations of child molestation that dogged him throughout his career.
He was acquitted in a high-profile 2005 trial of those charges, but many refused to believe he was innocent.
At any rate, from TMZ:
Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We’re told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.
A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.
Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

Say what you will about Michael Jackson. Yes, he probably was strange and perverted, as the starmaker machine will do this—BUT he gave us all memories of fun and good times that no one else will ever touch. God finally listened to one of Mark Sanford’s prayers this week and took down Michael Jackson down today so CNN could obsess on something else tonight. I agree with Not Sayin’, Just sayin’ that he is burning in hell and should be.

If Jackson is in heaven, the angels are keeping the kids away from him. If Jackson is in Hell, the demons are letting him loose and telling the kids there, “this is what you get.” Thriller indeed.
Pardon me for not feeling the least bit bad about this guy’s passing. I do feel sorry for his kids, but geez, this was not a good guy. Jackson was messed up. Maybe he can find some sort of peace in the afterlife, but please do not ask me to mourn his sorry ass.

If he did or didn’t, this does not take away that he was a person that God loved. He may have not lived the life that assured that he would be in heaven, but you can not condemn him or anyone else to hell. That is reserved for God.

Everyone talk all the junk and spread all the hate about Michael Jackson, guilty or not, he was a very talented entertainer. Realize that he was someone’s child, someone’s parent, someone’s brother. We do not know what his sins are, nor do you know mine or I yours. He has led a sad and lonely life whatever his sins. His kids deserve some sort of peace and the hate that is spewed on boards like this are not the legacy they need to see him leave behind!

I want to say to all of you that feel the need to judge him and condemn. God said judge ye not, less ye shall be judged. I want to say to you “He who is without sin cast the first stone. it was never proven that he was a child molester, but it has been proven that these so called parents of these children cohersed these children to say these things about him just to get money. What does that say about these parents ha? What kind of a person would settle for 20 million dollars, instead of making sure he wasn’t behind bars. What does that say about you parents that money is more important than your child peace of mind. If thats the case you and the ones judging him are no better than he was.
