Black Eyed Pea Beats Up Gay Blogger?

Flamboyantly gay gossip blogger Perez Hilton got beat up by Black Eyed Peas singer Will.I.am and his bodyguards in Toronto earlier this morning … at least that’s the narrative that Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavendiera, relayed to fans in a series of “tweets.”

Both the blogger and the band were in Toronto for last night’s MuchMusic awards, in which Hilton was presenting and the Peas were performing.

First, from Hilton’s Twitter page:

PerezHilton: I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.

PerezHilton: I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.

PerezHilton: Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel.

Will.I.am, whose real name is William J. Adams, created a Twitter account of his own to respond to Hilton’s accusations.

He said that Hilton was the one who provoked the confrontation by calling him a “faggot” and by making fun of Peas’ front woman Fergie.

Will.I.am says Hilton was accosted by an “unknown fan.”

Yeah, for those of you who care about this there’s a big write-up on the San Francisco Chronicle website.

You know, since a gay person was involved.

In just-as-excited celebrity news, Melissa Joan Hart’s 1999 teen classic “Drive Me Crazy” (named after the Britney Spears’ song) was on cable yesterday afternoon.

I don’t condone violence, but damn, it’s about time someone punched Perez. I have no doubt he had it coming. It was bound to happen sooner or later, and I would put down good money that it will happen again. No sympathy from this member of the gay community.

IF he had the fingers to twitter about it why couldnt his chubby fingers dial 3 digits (911)?????? or for that matter the flippin hotel Operator???
Because he wanted publicity and to sue out of this “alleged” incident.

First of all (Toyota K.), O says there are 57 states, although I’ve never heard Toronto referred to in that manner…you were referring to San Fran, perhaps?

Why Twitter? How about Hilton/Lavendiera’s status as a bonafide media whore?

Finally, the violence angle. I too avoid violence whenever possible, but the old saw about it “solving nothing” is a fallacy. Sometimes a little well-placed, well-timed, expertly-delivered violence to a truly deserving target solves a lot…
