Dave is a long time now hard core leftist. His quickness has largely faded and he seem unnecessarily angry almost all the time; Maybe he is in a loveless marriage…maybe he can no long enjoy the drive to work…who knows.

His writers have no fear writing a sex joke about a 14 year old girl. I guess little Willow had it coming. Funny how the Harvard and Columbia writers jumped on the Palins but left the analingus mentioned in the Starr report between Clinton, the boy president #1, and that woman Misss Lewinsky out of their comedic headlines.

Huh? What else would you have called it? The man is a COMEDIAN!!!! He tells jokes for a living! Trust me, David Letterman is not afraid to tell people how he feels about someone so when he says that a JOKE from his monologue was a JOKE, it most likely was. It was a bad one, which he tells quite a few of but this one also veered off into poor taste, especially when he allowed the perception that it was about a 14 year-old. Still, the man apologized and I don’t know what more he can do.

I believe in free speach.But,I also believe in ethics.I think you should be able to say what you want.But a man of stature would not say things that step over the line then hide behind a statement of it is a joke.Letterman can say what he wants.He just makes himself look like a knee-jerk ass
