Sarah Palin Is Whining Again

First of all, nice Fender tube amp in the background.

Seriously, as much as we’ve excessively “perved” in the past over the exquisitely-wrought form of Alaska’s super hot governor, Sarah Palin, it’s important to give a sexy, vintage guitar amplifier its due as well.

Lookin’ good there, babe …

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s discuss Sarah Palin. The former GOP veep nominee was back in the news yesterday – and once again not in a good way.

From the New York Daily News:

Sarah Palin lambasted late-night comedian David Letterman Wednesday for “sexually perverted comments” about one of her teenage daughters – and rebuffed his moves to make nice.

The CBS funnyman joked Monday of Palin’s recent New York visit that “during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.”

Palin was incensed.

“Laughter incited by sexually perverted comments made by a 62-year-old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl is … disgusting,” the Alaska governor said in a statement.

Good God, Sarah. Here we go again. As we noted earlier this year, Palin’s skin apparently has about the same thickness as Paul Sorvino’s garlic slices in Goodfellas.

Never seen the movie? That means it’s so thin it melts the moment a little heat is applied.

And yes, she’ still train smoke hot even while she’s bitching indignantly about stupid stuff, but come on … don’t people appreciate politicians who know how to absorb the jokes (and political punches) that come with the “territory?”

Of course they do. People may not like jokes being made at their expense, but they respect people who can laugh at themselves.

If Palin is ever going to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate, she needs to grow a sense of humor … and fast. And if she expects to survive the no-holds-barred, venomous mudslide of a typical South Carolina GOP primary, she might want to consider growing some thicker skin.

Oh, and that’s free advice, babe. Any more is going to cost you a pair of those naughty monkey shoes … mmmmmm.

“Waaaaaaaaaaaa! David Letterman made un of my daughter. Waaaaaaaaaa!”
Get a life Palin. This is yet one more reason why she will never be a serious contender in the political arena.

Given what has passed for “newsworthy” on this site in the last couple of days, it should be no surprise that FITS is taking the side of the dirty old man. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

while politician’s are fair game for comedians, their minor children should be off-limits. i think letterman is hilarious, but he crossed the line with this one.

David Letterman did go too far with his sexual jokes about her daughter. He would NEVER BE ALLOWED that liberty at the expense of the Obama girls. And he shouldn’t be joking sexually about any of these kids !!

I like Dave, but he needs to discuss it in private with Todd. We’ll see how mouthy he gets then. Peace!

give her a freaking break. evidently the only politicians’ daughters who are allowed to be made fun of are sarah palin and george bush. everyone else is off limits. she and her family have been trashed far beyond the media’s ordinary bashing. sasha and malia will never be treated that way. never. i don’t blame her one bit. she has been maligned. her family has been maligned. her words have been taken out of context on purpose by national media that has no integrity anymore. conservatives will never win again if they don’t learn how to fight. no, she is not smooth. she is not a master at manipulating the media. she makes mistakes. she shows her unease at times. she shows vulnerability at times. but i will still vote for her if she ever runs for office. she understands that capitalism has made america prosperous. she understands freedom and civil liberty. she understands personal integrity. all of that makes her better than just about anyone in washington. especially the con man in the oval office.

He would have done the same thing to Hillary Clinton about Chelsea, had Chelsea gotten herself in the same situation.

    It is woman-bashing.

Dave-o just wanted to see those hormones do the mad flash dance.

    Pr*ck!!!

Will, all this picture needs is a ‘nice’ Vintage Fender Telecaster or Stratocaster…But then, you might favor the Precision Fender Bass.

    that’s all for now,

The left is going to go after Sarah Palin any way they can, in order to discredit her. That’s what they’ve always done to strong, conservative women.

In better days, Mr. Palin would have had the right/duty to duel Letterman for making those kinds of remarks about his wife and daughter.

Yeah Sarah, have a sense of humor. He didn’t actually rape your 14 old daughter, he just thought it was funny to joke about a professional athlete doing so. Statutory rape is hilarious.

Sic, I don’t recall if you announced whether you were having a boy or a girl, but if it is a girl maybe you will come to understand how upset you would be if you were in the Palin’s situation.

Palin is a joke any way you try to slice and dice her. Please tell me no one actually believes this woman is a true conservative. She is a dim bulb who looks good in a skirt that caught a break being used in a failed hail Mary pass by McCain.

WoW. LOL… It is rather hilarious!!!
    I mean… the guy IS a comedian.

I also didn’t hear David ever mention it was the 14 year old daughter. It’s the 18 year old girl who just had the baby…. Yeish, politicians.

Anyway, that Fender Amp is a nice addition… At least these people know how to look good!!!

Check out our website if you have a chance, we have one of the largest selections of vintage guitars in the country!

Joke was about the older daughter, but the joke was really aimed at the governor’s poor parenting skills.

If Obama’s daughters got pregnant, it would not nearly as serious because he isn’t preaching some pathetic religion-centric method that few researchers have confidence in.

On the other hand, there is no question Obama’s daughters and Obama himself would be roasted alive in the news.

Republicans are not so special. Junk media loves trashy stories no matter who supplies them.

“Joke was about the older daughter, but the joke was really aimed at the governor’s poor parenting skills.”

Nonsense. Bristol was on the other side of the continent at the time. Your claim that she is a bad mother goes to the heart of what Letterman was joking about: Palin had a daughter get pregnant, ergo all her girls must be whores. This is the kind of thing supposedly open minded and sophisticated liberals find perfectly acceptable to say about conservativs. It was not until the backlash started that Dave tried to swim back upstream. If he really meant to make a joke about Bristol, why didn’t he apologize when he realized that she was not the one in New York? Because this was an excuse.

Also, do you really think she is a bad mother because one of her children made a poor decision? What about her son, who is serving his country honorably?
