S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford held his annual “mancampment” this weekend at Coosaw Plantation in Beaufort County, S.C., with nearly 250 people attending the all-male gathering modeled after San Francisco’s “Bohemian Grove” organization.
This year’s guest of honor was pollster Frank Luntz, who recently offered high praise for a TV commercial that Sanford cut during the heat of the recent “stimulus” battle.
“I understand that a popular blogger criticized you as being too passive in this ad,” Luntz reportedly told the governor and his fellow mancampers. “But I can assure you, governor, your tone was just right.”
Obviously, Luntz was referring to our review of Sanford’s ad- which like our review of Sanford’s performance throughout the “stimulus” fight was unflattering.
Or like any of the bust lines pictured above …

Is that really from the Sanford event or a spoof? I guess these guys are more into Brokeback Mountain than the Sands of Iwo Jima.
