Pizarro, Baby!

ticker-tape

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner …

Margie Pizarro, the scorching hot sole practitioner from Summerville S.C. who has set our founding editor’s heart a-flutter, is the winner of FITS’ inaugural “Carolina’s Hottest Lawyer” competition.

With a whopping 1,250 total votes cast and counted (our most popular poll ever), Pizarro was named on 444 ballots (36%), edging out Columbia hottie Ashley Batson of the Finkell Law Firm, who tallied 399 votes (32%).

FITS founding editor Sic Willie telephoned both Pizarro and Batson to inform them of the results, and somehow managed to refrain from making any inappropriate comments during his conversations with both beauties.

Amazing, we know.

Pizarro and Batson, it turns out, were both incredibly kind, cool and gracious about their newfound (and entirely unsolicited) FITS fame.

These are two awesome ladies, people. In fact, we’re hoping to get both of them to participate in a little “something-something” we’re working on moving forward – which contrary to our founding editor’s overactive imagination does not involve either of them making out with him … or each other.

So stop trying, Sic …

Anyway, we’d like to thank Margie, Ashley, all of our competitors and all of you who participated in the nominating process and the voting!

In addition to kicking off a great new FITS tradition with a bang, you have also unintentionally helped us demonstrate our extensive reach into one of the state’s most coveted advertising demographics (tee-hee!).

Anyway, congratulations to Margie on her well-earned victory! We hope you’re enjoying that ticker tape parade!

Stay tuned for more (we hope) in the weeks to come …

FITS,

I think its important to note that both of these ladies are CSOL grads. That place seems to be doing just fine to me… ton of talent coming out of Charleston these days.
