Ryan Braun’s Trailer-Wear

We love Brewers’ left fielder Ryan Braun.

With roughly a third of the 2009 season in the books, “Milwaukee’s Beast” is currently hitting .312 with 10 home runs and 34 RBI’s this year.

That tracks nicely with Braun’s first two seasons in the bigs, in which he launched 71 homers and drove in 203 runs – a.k.a. ridonkulous power.

Braun is also a .303 hitter for his career, which means Cooperstown is paying attention to him.

Frankly, we wish we had this stud in our fantasy baseball lineup, but alas, fate (and a bad draft) has left us with a Casey Blake/ Mike Lowell/ Michael Young platoon. Oh well … how ’bout them Mets!

Anyway, as “gaudy” as Braun’s offensive numbers are in baseball, the trailer park fashion produced by his clothing company are “offensively gaudy.” There’s just no other way to describe it.

Deadspin calls it “Jabroni-wear,” which is a point we can’t argue.

But hey, Remetee (that’s the name of Braun’s “fashion” comany) sure tries …

“The Remetee collection displays rich symbols of past and present, good and evil, grit and glam recreated in a pageantry of fashion,” the company’s website says. “Emblems of war, peace, love and myth, are woven into the wearable translation of an unfolding story.”

Yeah. Except in this case the “unfolding story” has already been translated  … into a TV show called “My Name Is Earl.”

Stick to the Robin Yount pinstripes, Brauny. Free advice …

Update – There is one bit of good news … Miss Cali Carrie Prejean is wearing Braun’s stuff.
