In an effort to “repair the U.S. image in the Muslim world,” U.S. President Barack Obama has done everything but bend over and attach his lips to the buttocks of some of the most America-hatin’ countries out there.
“My job is to communicate the fact that the United States has a stake in the well-being of the Muslim world, that the language we use has to be a language of respect,” Obama said in an interview with an Arab-language network back in January. “I have Muslim members of my family. I have lived in Muslim countries.”
In fact, Obama is giving a big speech in Cairo tomorrow in which it is widely expected that he will continue to kiss Arab ass.
Of course, he won’t question the anti-democratic regime that rules in Egypt, because they’re a U.S. ally.
“No, no what I’m about — don’t put words in my mouth, Steve, especially not in the White House,” Obama responded testily to a question about Egypt raised by NPR reporter Steve Inskeep.
Sheesh. Away from his teleprompter, Obama sure comes off as a whiny little bitch.
So anyway, what did all this “goodwill building” get him?
A nasty gram from al Queda leader Osama bin Laden.
“Obama and his administration have planted new seeds of (Muslim) hatred and vengeance towards America,” bin Laden says in his latest video, expertly timed to arrive just as Obama set off on his lip-locking tour. “Obama appears to have followed the same path taken by his predecessor, in creating more enmity towards Muslims, and adding on to the fighting enemies, thus paving the way for new long wars.”
What, no fist bump?
“Let the American people prepare to continue harvesting what their White House leaders grow, in the years and decades to come,” bin Laden concluded.
Yeah … that sound you hear is the air coming out of the appeasement balloon.
Again, dude … “they’ll like us when we win.”
In other words, less talky-talky, more blow-stuff-uppy.
UPDATE - Check out Reuters performing journalistic fellatio on Obama … “A double blast from al Qaeda against Barack Obama shows the group is as worried as ever by the persuasive skills of the U.S. president, who makes a speech to Muslims on Thursday …” Sheesh, Reuters. Swallow much?
