Lesbian Democrat “Outs” Three Republicans
“There’s no ‘gay’ way to fix a pothole,” or at least that’s what one of our many back issues of the now-defunct George magazine told us over a decade ago – a key moment in the evolution of our fairly progressive views on the issue of homosexuality.
Yet while there may be no ‘gay’ way to fix a pothole, there may be a ‘gay’ way to be a RINO – or “Republican in Name Only.”
That’s because all three of the South Carolina “GOP” politicians who were apparently dragged out of the closet last weekend by former (and future?) Democratic Congressional candidate Linda Ketner aren’t really Republicans.
Are U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer and S.C. Senate President Glenn McConnell gay, though?
Ketner certainly thinks so. In fact, here’s an excerpt from her explosive interview on the left-leaning website Firedoglake:
I asked (Ketner) if she thought being upfront about being gay, even campaigning with her partner of 9 years, Beth Huntley, impacted the race. “When you lose by such a tight margin, anything could have played a role.” In focus groups she found that people didn’t care about her personal sexual preference but respected her honesty. “We have more gay people serving in South Carolina than probably in anyplace in the United States; they’re just not out of the closet. We have an awful lot of people in the closet– Lindsey Graham, Glenn McConnell who’s our Senate president pro tem, our Lt Governor…”
Wow.
In regards to Graham and McConnell, Ketner is simply lending voice to what innumerable sources have told FITS is established fact.
As for Bauer, FITS has received detailed confirmation of at least one heterosexual relationship involving the Lt. Governor in the past, although one of the hottest rumors on the campaign trail back in 2002 was that a Newberry County divorce action allegedly implicated Bauer in a homosexual tryst with a married man. Those allegations never went public, though, largely because no documents ever surfaced to corroborate the claims.
As far as we know, Bauer is as straight as the blades on a helicopter.
Graham, Bauer and McConnell are all single, which obviously doesn’t help.
What concerns us, though, is not their sexuality but their approach to government and their views on fiscal responsiblity.
As far as we’re concerned, there is no ‘gay’ way to protect the taxpayers – something all three of these alleged Nancies have proven incapable of doing during their terms in office.

It’s not that these guys are single, it’s that they are “curiously single.” Strom was a bachelor into his 40s, but he was chasing girls with the same gusto that Michael Phelps swims. McConnell and Graham have no interest in females, by all appearances. Bauer has been seen in the company of hot women, but let’s face it: he has been known to be a bit disingenuous from time to time. The same people who see Bauer with a girl and think he’s straight are the same people who see him passing out blankets to old people and and think he’s is compassionate rather than a shameless panderer.
Did Ketner mention any judges? Like Danny Pieper? He’s rumored to be a McConnell … ally.

Before everyone spreads more rumor and innuendo as fact, read Ketner’s post in reply #19 in the same interview. She has no proof and no substance to her claim. As she put it, “Those are the rumors.”
It’s a sad day when a former (and possibly future) candidate for public office repeats rumors, which have been denied repeatedly, in a public forum with no facts to back them up.

People come out when they’re ready I suppose … I took a long time myself. And, it is particularly dangerous to employment in SC since it’s legal to fire you for being gay and it has happened many times. But, I simply had to come out. The lack of integrity in being closeted was driving me crazy.
By the way, in Howie’s intro, he quoted me as saying several members of state and U.S. government were gay … I don’t know that for sure having never been intimate with any of them. Those are the rumors.

I have hear the rumors about Lodsey Graha, and McConnell is a new one for me though. I hav ehard the rumours about Andre’s Bauer, and I hav e known the Lt. Governor over 20n years. My Mother was his 8th grade math teahcer.
Since high school, Andre bauer has always considered himself the Lady’s man, and even his mother can tell you this. I eevn ran inot Andre’s Mother at the S.C. Repiblican Convention a few weeks back, and when Imenitoned to her that Andre considered himself the Lady’s Man in high school, her response was “he still doees.” Shedi d mention that he recnetly brok up with his latest romance, but they are friends, and she “allows him visitation rates to the puppy they bought together.
Why is it that a well-spoken cultured guy in his 40,s whois single, who works hard, and des not sleep around )likemany democrats), has to be gay and in the closet? Just because democrats live that way does not mean the rest of the world does?
Maybe this Lesbian who outed these people is not dealing with facts, but fantasy. Maybe she is wishing they are gay, so she cna have some amoral threesome with two of them.
Bottom Line is: you better have proof or back off!!

Those of us who live in Columbia hear the buzz about all three of them from time to time. The queens at the local gay watering hole call Sen. Graham “good ole’ Linda Graham” and at least one person I know says he ‘knows’ Bauer is ‘family’. Not sure how you prove it, but it is nice that Linda Kenter is calling them out for hypocrisy.

I thought it was common knowledge that Lindsey Gaham lives with his homosexual “partner” in Washington, D.C.
Butt then, this is yet another reason to be revolted at Gaham’s continuing to use and abuse his seat to rake in money for his personal ambitions.
It may actually be that he’s really not just homosexual but “omnisexual.” After all, he screws every one one of us every chance he gets, doesn’t he?

Bauer has definitely been known to take young dames home from Five Points. He’s so skilled at the practice, it’s reputed that he has a “Clapper” device to shut off the bedside lights.
That said, he does have that Thomas Ravenel thing going on. And it’s long been said that T-Rav was “definitely into some of that gay stuff.”
