S.C. Cybersquatting Is “Back Like Cooked Crack”

Interested in learning about S.C. Senator Shane Massey? Yeah … neither were we.

Of course, should the mood ever strike you, we wouldn’t recommend going to www.ShaneMassey.com.

Why not?

Well, you won’t find anything there about Shane Massey (above). Wait … what? Who would you find?

This guy …

rice-website

Yeah … that’s S.C. Rep. Rex Rice, who is actually one of Massey’s competitors for the S.C. Third Congressional District seat, which is being vacated this year by gubernatorial candidate Gresham “Bailout” Barrett.

The fact that Massey’s web address leads to Rice’s website would appear to be another example of “cybersquatting,” which occurs when political candidates take over the Internet addresses of their rivals.

It’s bush league, but it’s par for the “good ole boy” course in S.C. politics.

Frankly, Rice doesn’t need his own website – nor does he need to rip off anybody else’s.

After all, the website run by Rice’s political consulting firm Richard Quinn & Associates has been relentlessly shilling for the Pickens Representative for months now, calling him “a rising conservative star” and breathlessly announcing the “much-anticipated news” of his candidacy.

Whatever.

As far as we can tell, anybody who’s ever represented the S.C. Third Congressional District (and everybody currently running for the S.C. Third Congressional District) is a mega bag-o-douche.

Especially Lindsey Graham …

Anyway, is it too much to ask of our elected officials to actually protect our tax money? You know, instead of talking a good game about it but always, always, ALWAYS caving when it really matters?

Sheesh.

Not everybody who has represented SC’s Third Congressional District should meet your with your disapprobation. I would think that being a Congressman, a U. S. Senator, a U. S. Supreme Court Justice, a U. S. Secretary of State, running the nation’s war economy during WWII, and Governor would be some accomplishments worthy of admiration. Yes, I speaking of James F. Byrnes.
Also Congressmen Butler Derrick and Bryan Dorn from that district were admirable and able public servants. If you want to find some dogs, look no further than SC’s First Congressional District: Henry Brown, Mark Sanford, Arthur Ravenel, Tommy Hartnett. (Mendel Rivers must be turning over in his grave.)

We didn’t have anything to do with that. There are people who buy domains they know someone will want so they can sell it to them later.

Rex’s daughter … a) you are ridiculously hot. b) did you also know some of those “people” work for political consulting firms affiliated with your dad’s campaign?

Gillon … Jeez dude. We saw a bird crap on the James Byrnes statue the other day. Try and come relevant next time.

Shane actually brought it to my dad’s attention and we all tried to find the person/company/campaign firm who purchased it. What we found out was that it was bought sometime around March (before we even know Sen. Massey was in the race). If you know who bought it, or how to find out who owns it, please let us know.

Will –
You have my number and the number at RQ&A so next time, why don’t you pick up the phone and give me a call and actually get your facts straight.

We had nothing to do with this and if you picked up the phone or shot me an e-mail you would have known that.

How fitting, the domain was registered by proxy. Ummm, looks like the low blows in this race have started. Sic take a good look at all the candidates before you label all of them a “mega bag-o-douche.” Jeff Duncan is an unabashed conservative who will work to end the out of control spending of the Obama administration and his democratic congress.

Adam,

We’re guessing the Rex Rice for Congress … err, Palmetto Scoop website has plenty of room for y’alls denials.

To be perfectly honest, our sincere hope is that we don’t ever have to focus on this slow zebra derby ever again.

Ever …

Willie. The “relevancy’ is that if you’re going to expound on SC Congressional districts and their history, it doesn’t hurt to have some knowledge of either or both. As for Byrnes’ statue, if the name wasn’t on it, I doubt if you would know it from that of J. Marion Simms. (Byrnes is the one sitting down)

Doesn’t hiring Quinn doom Rice because it simply states his values are

1. growing government

2. zero transparency

3. winning at all costs

4. keeping white country club boys running our state?

Sic Willie, the biggest joke of a Congressboy to ever represent SC was your Daddy Markie Mark.

That district is the problem with Social Security too. International accounts were created in the Greenwood SC office and have paid FIDELITY INVESTMENTS FOR OVER FIFTEEN YEARS.
Everyone who sits in the Third District Chair knows it, supports it, protects it, controls the money of the people of South Carolina.
Gresham Barrett even got me a fraudulent Inspector General report…. verified as fraud by Special Agent Maye in Baltimore. THEN NOTHING> more harassment, more financial punishment…
I have spent over $12,000.00 protecting my benefits, and recouping $37,000.00 of awarded and never paid money.

FIDELITY OWNS the third Congressional District and everyone elected in it.

THIS IS DANGEROUS FELLOW SOUTH CAROLINIANS…. THE THIRD DISTRICT PUNISHED ME FOR WORKING WITH MY LIFETIME ILLNESS.
NO LAW ENFORCEMENT AVAILABLE PER THE THIRD DISTRICT CONGRESSMEN……

help FIDELITY OWNS AND IS CLOSING AMERICA
