He probably never had heard of Craigslist before this incident and as such he was seriously misinformed due to the generational and technological gap that exists between young people today and his generation. I find the point made about not wanting to alienate local newspapers very interesting because it shows that he is just trying to play political games just like nearly every other current politician.
