Some people in the establishment still can't get over that we in Spartanburg County threw out three GOP incumbants (Talley, Walker, Ritchie) for Bright, Millwood, and Martin. The fact is the voters in these districts knew exactly what they were getting with these candidates and they made the choice to vote for them. Everyone knew that Bright and Millwood were likely 95% behind Sanford's agenda, everyone knew that their campaigns were being helped by pro-school choice groups, everyone knew Bright and Millwood supported full school choice. And they voted for them. It continues to amaze me that the status-qupdetractors of people like Bright, Millwood, Tom Davis, Nikki Haley, Sanford, etc. are continually outraged that conservative Republican candidates can actually win elections in conservative Republican states like SC. Kudos to Bright and the Back Bench Boys for calling out their "leaders" for the shams they truly are.
