I would have said 6-8 years from now given the terrible leadership of the Dems, but the Republicans seem determined to dig themselves into a generational hole. But as long as you have Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi fowling everything up, you have a chance. We need to have transparency at the Federal Reserve- show us where the tarp money went, who got it, at what interest rate,and with what kind of collateral backing it up. The Republicans should get behind auditing the Federal Reserve and blast the Democrats when they fail to get behind the bill. Look at how transparency has transformed the political landscape the last 9 months in SC - Nikki Haley for Governor is an example of how far the transparency train can go.
