At the end of each session of the S.C. General Assembly, all of the well-heeled (and in some cases, very well-heeled) lobbyists who perpetuate our state’s failed status quo get together to drink, dance and make fun of Gov. Mark Sanford.
In fact, we Sanford is on the official (and super-secret) lobbyist T-shirt design once again this year … unaccompanied by pooping piglets, we hope.
Anyway, tonight’s big “lobbyist party” is kicking off at the Clarion Clown … err, Town House hotel … in downtown Columbia, just a few blocks from the S.C. State House.
When does the party start?
Well, it’ll kick off as soon as the State Senate – aided capably by RINO rollovers like Sen. Paul Campbell – finishes overriding all of the governor’s vetoes.
So, for all the reporters who have made it to (and reported on) this event in the past, you might want to head on over!
It’s not like there’s any suspense left at the S.C. State House … or really ever was, for that matter.
As for the suspense of a possible Sic Willie appearance at the lobbyist event?
Come on people, he’s gone underground Drudge style …
And why wouldn’t he?
He’s got people watching every move y’all make …

sic(k)willie loves to tease about crashing one of these things, but he never has the nerve. He knows he’d be arrested, and a charge of trespass so soon after a CDV conviction would not go over well with a Judge. He knows that.
