One of them flip-flopped on perhaps the most important Congressional vote in American history – and was booed off the stage for it in the heart of GOP country.
Another is neck deep in a “senior scam” that’s garnering statewide headlines – and is likely to get worse before it gets better.
The other is a member of a “whites only” country club whose latest attempt to grandstand on social conservative issues has exposed South Carolina to a totally avoidable lawsuit.
So, will Gresham “Bailout” Barrett, Andre “Senior Scam” Bauer or “Kneejerk” Henry McMaster suffer most for their public missteps as the Republican gubernatorial campaign begins to heat up?
To the poll!

Haley voted to take the stimulus funds…
Grooms voted to restructure the ports authority…

The “Big Three” aren’t so big anymore.
A recent article in the Spartanburg Herald-Journal on 7th Cir. Solicitor Trey Gowdy running a/g Inglis said that Andre Bauer was also considering challenging Inglis. This jives with what I have heard from at least two other GOP politicos, that Andre may be thinking of moving to Gville for this race and not run for gov…

We would love to have Andre move up here and run for the fourth district. Nothing would make us prouder than to hand him his first electoral loss. His extracurricular activities may have slipped by in Columbia but the holiness people around here will not let them slip by any longer.
