Michael Steele Is Like “Big Worm”

For those of you unfamiliar with the movie Friday, there’s a particularly elucidating scene in which a local drug dealer named “Big Worm” informs one of his associates about his underlying business philosophy.

“Playin’ wit my money is like playin’ wit my emotions,” the dealer says.

True that.

New RNC Chairman Michael Steele is sending a similar message to the country club crackers in the GOP trying to “mess wit his bills.”

From FOX:

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele told FOX News that part of his job is to “manage the money” and suggested that if committee members strip him of that authority he’ll step aside.

“They can contemplate all they want to, but the reality is if they want a figurehead chairman you can have a figurehead chairman, but it won’t be Michael Steele,” he said.

Steele aides insist the chairman was not threatening to quit, but merely to fight over retaining his authority. But his comments reflect the persistent tension within the Republican National Committee over his chairmanship.

On Wednesday, RNC state chairmen will vote on the funding issue, among others — such as whether to label the Democratic Party “Socialist.”

Seriously, Republicans … are you kidding us?

You elect a black chairman to run the party … and now you want to take away his ability to manage the money? Gee, that sends a great message.

Oh, and all you’ve got on the message front is a debate over whether or not all your overpaid political consultants are going start labeling Democrats as “socialists” instead of just “liberals?”

Look in the mirror, dim bulbs.

All of you are socialists.

Steele just finished a pretty good speech to all the state GOP chairs where he laid it out for the “dim bulbs.” He made a pretty good case for returning to the Republicans’ roots of Burke, Reagan, and Buckley; and said that the era of Republican “navel-gazing is done.”

Whether those dim bulbs (some of whom are already trying to do Steele in, obviously) can let go of their silliness and try to grow the party remains to be seen. Most are too busy trying to decide what name to call the Democrats to realize how off-base and out of touch they are…

Isn’t this obvious racism at work ? The old rich white Republican men are not going to trust a black man to spend their money.

And they realize Steele is not going to get them the black vote- if they ever thought that , it is just more proof they have lost touch with reality.

Let’s figure out the name of the new party that will emerge to take over from these con artists.

If someone canceled his RNC credit card, as a hint, who would step in?

Would another election be held?

Or do they fall back on the original runners up?

Why do I always have to be the one to ask this stuff?

Chill out Mr. Steele, if you want to convince the people to rejoin the republicans you have to do a much better effort in convincing the fat cats to share some of the wealth that they accumulated during the Reagan-Bush administrations. Unfortunatley greed is still the underlying reason for most of the still republicans to hold on to the base. Did you not see the base crumbling and leaving us with the mess and recession? Thanks the Lord for giving us President Obama to get us back on our feet…..

Micheal Steele,
First, you ARE a Classy Gentlemana as always. You did a great job today on the speech. Thank You, very much for saying the truth about Obama! Just like all of Fox News Staff..
If there is any one we’d like to meet it would be you, You are an asset to our Republican Party. Maybe you and Sarah Palin could be on the same ticket for the next president because hopefully everyone will open they’re eyes and NOT vote for Obama, Obama is full of Crap! Chicago Thug!
One term is “toooo” much! Again We enjoyed your speech. We love you’s very much you are the best! Thank you again, Love You

Cheney, Steele, and Palin in the next election, in any matchup, it will be the only way I switch back. The Republican party is embarrassing itself. We have the most ridiculous President who daily gives them fodder and they cant seem to take the initiative.Bunch of old white dudes trying to hold onto old ideas, unwilling to embrace new ideas and a new generation of voters and thinkers. Steele has ideas and new ways of thinking but the old Republicans don’t seem to want to embrace it. And could someone tell Mrs. Graham to STFU! Oh well…keep digging your grave Republicans. For those of you that see where this is going and jumped ship, I applaud you, you can think for yourself. For those sticking it out and hoping for change…well it’s kinda like sticking with the ……Gamecocks year after year….oh snap!!!! I went there!!! Three…two…one….
