After all. it has been America&#039;s farmers who have  benefited more than most in this country from the Federal government&#039;s largesse. Besides numerous outright grants and subsidies, they were one of the driving forces behind the Federal food stamp program and now the ethanol program.  I guess in farm parlance, it&#039;s &quot;who can get their snout in the trough when feeding time comes.&quot;</description>
